Don't get sent off playing for Vinny.
You don't seem to play much afterwards.

Re: Berge
If he's even remotely doubtful there's very little point in him playing tonight. Give him the best possible chance for Saturday

Another anti VK poster, can’t even accept players are injured without accusing VK of lying.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 3:51 pmDon't get sent off playing for Vinny.

Re: Berge
VK wouldn’t be the first manager to withdraw a key squad member to save him for a potentially more winnable fixture a few days later.
Mick McCarthy changed all 10 outfield players to save them for a crucial “6 pointer” against the Clarets a few seasons ago as I recall.

Re: Berge
The club confirmed Beyer and Taylor were unlikely to play on an article this morning on the club website which they then quickly changed -

Re: Berge
I've criticised Kompany for seemingly falling out of favour with certain players but this is ridiculous to me. He was a big summer arrival who played within 24 hours of signing and has played whenever fit, he's one player who if the report is injured I 100% believe it he runs our midfield.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 3:51 pmDon't get sent off playing for Vinny.

Re: Berge
It was an off the cuff remark about the players.
4 have been sent off.
Leave Foster out for obvious reasons.
The other 3 haven't played much if at all since.
Now pick your bottom lip up.

Re: Berge
Compared to many other PL clubs we have not been as unlucky with long term injuries, however the short term injuries and illnesses that we learn about prior to each game have been higher than I can recall, and I go back a long way as a fan

Re: Berge
I've not seen any data but my feeling is probably the same. Never seen so many players out with 'illness'.warksclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 5:20 pmCompared to many other PL clubs we have not been as unlucky with long term injuries, however the short term injuries and illnesses that we learn about prior to each game have been higher than I can recall, and I go back a long way as a fan

Berge hasn’t played since he was sent off, he was suspended and injured.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 4:17 pmVK wouldn’t be the first manager to withdraw a key squad member to save him for a potentially more winnable fixture a few days later.

Re: Berge
I would save him. Foster and Odebert all are vital for Saturday v Fulham.Give a run-out to Tressor,Roberts and Cork.

Re: Berge
Perhaps he’s had the same illness/injury that all our out of favour players have had this season ? The club have virtually closed shop on injury /player updates , citing some ludicrous “ privacy clause”
Re: Berge
I mean this with no disrespect at all, but I’m ‘only’ 42 years old and it’s completely wiped me out.
I dread to think how our elder members of society have been coping with it.

Re: Berge
I’m not sure it was the wisest move going tonight. I’d have definitely missed some games had we played in the last couple of weeks. And it does get harder as you get older.
