You should be ashamed of yourself. Ramsey is dreadful but absolutely no need for that. And it's 'wimp' by the way.
I’ve already I’d made that comment as he was falling over,it’s easy being wise after the event I didn’t know he’d injure himself when he fell over ,so don’t need a lecture from you .

Who is our captain? It’s true, zero identity. Amateur hour

Our GK (not rated on this game) should be in school, not in a premier league net

There’s ways to lose games and your Captain laughing and joking marking at a corner 5-0 down isn’t one, your a disgrace Burnley.

Been past it for 12 months but at least him and Gudmundsson have put a shift in since they came on. Them and O'Shea the only ones who've looked like they care today.

A couple on here actually thought we did well 1st half which I find laughable tbh, the warning signs for this car crash performance were sawn as soon as the 1st went in and we completely stopped any form of pressing or showed any intensity or intent in our play!

I haven’t hated Odobert today. Not much for him to get onto, but at least trying.

It's the same that gaslight about why Benson and others haven't had a chance/barely played.

VK can do no wrong according to them.

How can anyone on this board "gaslight" about why Benson hasn't played? No one on here is running the training sessions during the week. All any of us know about Benson is what we saw of him last season. He did well last season, then he was injured in pre-season.

VK can do no wrong according to them.
What worries me about this (and this is again, saying Id give VK til November next year), is the following:

We go down.
It's likely a few players will leave, either to service their transfer fees/debt or because they don't want to stay in the Championship. Not convinced we'll make our money back on everyone- we'd profit on Koleosho but he's injured, possibly profit on Odobert, Amdouni it's anyone's guess if we'd take a loss or break even. Ramsay injured likely but I doubt we'd make our money back, Berge we'd probably make our money back maybe small profit. Trafford, anybody's guess. If Tresor's purchase obligation has triggered, no chance we make our money back. Larsen, not sure but probably wouldn't either.

But let's assume we make our money back on enough to not be in a dire situation financially (so can refresh somewhat), without selling so many that we lose the core of the team.

What of Muric, Benson, Zaroury or Cullen? They almost certainly HAVE to be sold, because I can't see any of them wanting to be in the trenches again like last year knowing that even if they perform, they'll likely be discarded again. That's the other key aspect of "Just give these lads a chance" - man management. If we're not selling them we've got them next year, they did well at that level last time so would be assets, but are busted assets if you've alienated them. Re-integrate or sell. And selling means yet more turnover and lack of squad stability.

This is why I think it's imperative to give these guys a PROPER chance, not token gestures or sat on the bench suffering as witnesses. We're going to need as many of these lads as possible for next year in as top condition as possible, because it's inevitable some will go, and the more we have ready to play, the better a spot we're in, and the more we actually give a chance to do something, the more they have a chance of earning back their value if they are marked for sale/not continuing to expose and depreciate other players' value if some players are consistently underperforming.

We're in danger otherwise of selling up the only decent performers and being left with injured or alienated players.

Take it whichever way you want but Jay Rod rates VK and reckons he’ll bounce back. Not a comment you’d expect from a senior player / local lad if he thought everyone had given up on him?

To be so uncompetitive having spent what could be for us a catastrophic amount of cash has to land squarely at the feet of Kompany, he's not learning and perhaps he's finding things far too comfortable as Pace seems besotted by him

This team will go down mentally scarred from the absolute clusterf*ck that's unfolded this season!

We're still giving the same goals away, we're still giving stupid balls away and being the masters of our own downfall and squad selections and substitutions have been baffling at times. JGB and Taylor today and then others later when you've got Benson sitting there is just crazy.

The worst thing for me is that we seem to have fostered in a culture that losing is acceptable and playing badly is okay. Brownhill was laughing in the second half and we were getting tonked 5-0. We've little to no fight, the list of problems go on, but we've just not learnt anything throughout the season. I remember saying in September that we struggled transitioning with the ball and unless Koleosho did somthing we were stuffed, it's exactly the same but now Odebert or on occasion Berge makes a decent run with the ball.

We're just really really poor. I've been critical this year without saying VK out but right now the only reason I want VK in is because we mullered the championship last year, but even if we went down and came back up again has VK shown anything to suggest he will learn and not repeat the same mistakes again?

I'm not convinced that our problem is just "needing better players" I actually think we've got some decent quality in the squad (yes we've got some holes but we are to blame for that too).

I posted the other week that it was like Groundhog day every weekend, it is again- when does it become enough?

If Arsenal could have scored way more if the had wanted to. Both Fofana and O’Shea looked to be holding their hamstrings and of course a bad looking injury to Ramsay. Can it possibly get any worse. Sorry but VK simply has no clue at this level. He might be able to bring us back up but with his signings this season I don’t think so.

No effort, no tactics, no pressing, no leadership, no defending, no shots on target, no desire, no pride, no cohesion, no ball retention, so basically no ferkin idea. Apart from that the lads done well.

Did you watch O'Shea for their fifth, he watched their player run 10 yards past him, pick up a ball from a throw in, so not offside, then wander at ease into our box to score.

I won’t be giving O’Shea a 7 after that “effort” for the Havertz goal. Has he been better recently? Yes, but he’s still miles away from a Premier League player and a massive part of our problem to me. Switches off constantly.

59 year old and season ticket holder most of them , (besides stints in the army , kids and work ) wow 2nd game in a row I have left at half time, clueless and useless
Cant remember us being as bad and thats recalling my memories of the old 4th Division when we nearly left the league and attending ever home and way game in the 80's
Fair enough it's Arsenal near the top of the league but we couldn't string a pass together. Silly Americans thinking buying 10+ kids and most will come good worth 10 times what we paid,We would be lucky to recoup what we paid

Let's start with well beaten by an extremely good Arsenal team who are arguably the best side I've seen this season and let's also say that in our PL existence we've regularly been beaten by the likes of Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Tottenham etc, BUT we've never looked so far off it! When Arsenal were beating us with an extremely soft Ramsey penalty and a blatant Koschelny handball we really were battling and giving them a game and could count ourselves unlucky and in fact robbed. Today no fight, no aggression, no edge and no contest. A total roll over. And it's embarrassing. Blatantly not good enough from front to back.

Just listening to Talk Sport who are saying we are the worst team that has ever played in the premier league and VK must have come from a different planet that has never seen football before … that’s a very strong opinion about such a great player but says he is completely out of his depth at this level .. People saying Tella and Benson and Zaroury can’t make the step up but maybe it’s VK that can’t make the step up

Couldn’t agree more, the number of times we’ve been robbed when we’ve played Arsenal, and Arteta moaning about the grass being too long or too dry,it seemed to galvanise the fans and team ,and we were all in it together ,I feel like we’re watching a team and management going threw the motions.
