Time Wasting
Some fans need to read up on the rules
The amount of times I heard shouts from fans yesterday that the ref needs to do something about a goal keeper “time wasting” is ridiculous.
If a keeper has the ball at his feet (not for a goal kick) the ball is in play. He could stand like that for the full game if he wanted to

Popey was/is a master of that and we weren't complaining then ... the Ref added the time on in both halves ...wilks_bfc wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 9:30 amSome fans need to read up on the rules

Re: Time Wasting
I agree Boss, but the added time wouldn’t have been for those instances
A team could kick off and playing back to the keeper who could stand there for 45 mins and there would be no added time
Granted it wouldn’t be very interesting to watch, but probably more enjoyable than what we have seen this season

A lot just don’t understand football, and they spend their hard earned money watching something they clearly don’t understand. Baffling really.wilks_bfc wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 9:30 amSome fans need to read up on the rules

A guy behind me yesterday screamed offside when the opposition took a throw in for example.

Trafford is excellent at this - only he does it when we are getting beat.
