He has definitely been one of the most improved players of the season.

He's absolutely not PL standard (like a lot of them aren't) but he's been one of our more consistent players generally. Wouldnt say he's on our our best but he isn't the worst by a long shot

Hahahaha you're ridiculous. Set your stall out months ago on this when you tried to make out he was at fault for every cup goal

He'd come forward to be an option, same as Trafford does every game. Trafford makes those two recoveries it's called world class. O'Shea shambolic there

Clearly giving the angle for the pass back which would've give him plenty of options other than just thumping it long

There was no pressure from Brentford so he was away from goal to be able to receive a pass, basic defending never to pass the ball back directly at goal.

Then it is a very good save, to get up that quickly and parry it wide when he clearly isn't set for the shot.

The people blaming Muric are just stretching at this point. O'Shea gets the ball, doesn't even look where he's playing it and passes it straight towards the goal-line. That's a cardinal sin of pass-backs.

Stationary in that last 3rd when we should be wearing them down. Need to be whipping the balls in quicker and we need to force and error.

If Brentford level they are just gonna park the bus

Yep.

I thought Muric was a bit recklessly positioned but you just don't play a backpass centrally without having checked first. In fact, I was always coached that you put an angle on it, even then.

I think Trafford is less likely to make the initial rescue but makes a more convincing job of the follow up shot

Would prefer a draw with lots of straight reds and the odd season ending injury.

Stats suggest we are sitting back, why against 10 men.

Brentford are always going to give it a go, why encourage them. We are so poor at managing games.
