Has their keeper made a save yet? Maybe one first half?

Infuriates me that Defour isn't starting. Would much rather have him on for the first 70 minutes than for the last 10 when we're a goal or more down :(

Oh dear. All at sea for the last 5 minutes. Barnes takes a yellow there for the team as Dembele jinking around.

I think Defour not starting is probably right as he's only just come back from injury, but to wait until we're 2-0 down before putting him on, is mental.

Weakened Spurs side coming to the Turf. A point at least looked very possible.

Gray off killed it for us. If it's not an injury Dyche has made such an obvious error.

It's been appalling from the start. Nothing of any quality today. Barton has been poor, Hendrick ditto. Arfield and Boyd.. why?

Why is our most expensive signing, a LEFT FOOTED PLAYER, playing on the right?

Scrap it and start again. We're abysmal. Why do all the work in the first half of the season, if this is what's going to become of the rest of it? It's like we crap our pants when things are going well.

Be careful what you wish for.

We've been very 2nd best today and I'm also frustrated and angry by a number of decisions...but I'm absolutely sticking by what we've been doing for the last few years.

Just look at a few other teams who may very well regret changes that have been made...Blackburn, Newcastle, West Ham....among many others...

Far from safe like myself and numerous other posters have been saying for weeks. Now just 5 points clear. 10 of Boro who have two games in hand.

Completely idiotic I agree, after he showed in the last game he played there that he doesn't have a right foot either. Spec savers for the bench on Monday morning..

If we go down from the position we were in then it will be deservedly so. Only 5 points difference on the form we're in is worrying. Think we'll be okay though.

I find it amazing that we have the player who is probably worst at crossing on that duty all the time. Have we not worked out that Lowton is crap at crossing?

Obv Brady on the left getting some crosses in would be infinitely better?

I hope my posts from weeks ago about us still being well in the thick of it, with 10 points clear, don't prove to be correct. But I think they will be. We couldn't buy a win and the teams below us are improving.

Correct. It is still very much in our hands. We have to play a number of lower teams around us. 5 points is clearly not enough. But what idiots thought we would be 5 points clear of relegation in April when we started the season? I didn't. I've never though we were clear of a relegation fight at any stage. We won't be until we've played the 38 games.

If we stay up, even on goal difference, then that will have been a very well managed season. If we fail, well, it'll be disappointing given where we were...but we are always going to be facing an uphill struggle.

Tuesday night is a massive game. We seriously need to get back to winning ways in that one. Expected a defeat today, but the manner in which and tactically has been a shocker. We cannot afford to keep persisting with too many cloggers, it won't work in this league. I fear for us now.

I remember you saying that, yes. Still think we're in a good position but there's a fair bit of pressure to get a win at home versus Stoke next week. I'd like to see much, much better from us in that game. 1 or 2 shots on target in a game is abysmal, whoever you're playing against.

It looks like our plan today was to play our best players out of position or in a formation that doesn't suit them. Very concerning non performance today.

Dyche is showing stubborness and inflexibillity relying on Champ players to get results in Prem in his favoured ineffectual 4-4-2

We've no chance playing like this....

I doubt it.

I've been involved in football in a number of capacities at a decent level. I know nothing of what is going on behind the scenes at our club but I am certainly not stupid enough to believe that I know more than SD about situations surrounding the team.

He has clearly got most decisions correct. You don't seem to understand that. To pretend you know more just shows that you know nothing about the way football works.

What we have to do is stay tightly together. When teams turn on each other, that is when things go wrong. It's a sign of WEAK minds and characters.

Luckily, I think SD will keep the ship tight. We should do our bit too. It's hard enough beating teams around us when we're together. It's even trickier when we have to fight ourselves too.

We've been playing like this all season. Spurs are a good side, they beat us. That's all there is to it.
