Manure v Swans

Post by Buxtonclaret » Sun Apr 30, 2017 11:48 am

One of those rare occasions I'll be wanting that lot from Salford to win today.
Here's hoping. :)

I'm a massive United fan today. 5 points difference with 3 to play would still be good but come on, 8 points is all but insurmountable. Here's hoping the Swans get stuffed!

At the moment both Hull and Swansea can reach 43 points. We have 39.

I see Cork isn't playing. Injured?

Edit - Ah, seen he's on the bench.

Neither of them would reach that if they were given ten extra games to play.

Even a draw wouldn't be so bad. We'd be 7 points clear and so Swansea would need to win their 3 remaining games, with 8 not being possible from 3 games.

But if United don't win this, there's something wrong.

I wouldn't mind us signing Fabianski if Heaton (God forbid) was poached by a bigger club. Great keeper.

As long as Ashley Young is playing, Swansea have a chance. I don't know how he's still at United tbh.

never a pen in a million years...the sooner attacking players get penalised after the game for cheating the better...he dropped his foot to try and get the keeper to touch him....bet mourinho doesnt mention that after the game.

The sooner they start retrospective punishment for that sort of cheating- suspensions, even points deduction, the better.
That was so blatant it's embarrassing!

No doubt Clement will be moaning about it.
He wasn't too worried about Ben Mee being blatantly fouled when
they scored the winner at their place.

F**k em.

Yep.
Take that point, Electro.
I've no sympathy for Swansea.
We've had some crap thrown our way on the 'rub of the green' stuff this season. Probably much more against than for.
But that sort of cynical cheating just isn't good for the game as a whole.

It was De Gea's shout - he waved him back into the wall when he'd come back on the line. Rooney at fault also - needless challenge which lead to free kick

If Swansea win it late then get 9 points from their remaining 3 games and Hull do likewise...both in the 40s.

p.s. there was an Englishman, a Spaniard, a Portugese chap and a Welshman in a pub...

That'll do for me. I would suggest we can all relax a little now! 7 points clear, 3 games left and a much better goal difference than Swansea. They need to win all 3 remaining games to get above us and I can't see that happening. Match their result next weekend and we're officially safe.

Really don't see Palace being dragged into it. Between Hull and Swansea.
