The League of Gentlemen
Looking forward to this tonight, but three episodes I hope I'm not left dissapointed, probably one of the finest comedy series ever.

Re: The League of Gentlemen
It's one of those series that's never appealed to me, bit like The Office.
I suppose I should try it sometime.

I loved the Office and IMO it was second only to the Perfect Fawlty Towers
Re: The League of Gentlemen
I was too young to get it when it came out but I might have another look
When I first watched an episode of the office at 14 I didn't get it, however I watched them all at 18 and loved it, watch the fully 2 series and xmas specials at least once a year. One of the finest comedies ever.
What type of humour is League of Gentlemen. I like the office, Alan Partridge, original shooting stars, some older comedies like porridge. Just wondering if its worth going back to watch them all

Inchy,
I didn't watch League of Gentlemen until this year and it's honestly really funny. It's not as subtly genius like The Office or Alan Partridge but it's just hilarious due to how strange it is.

Re: The League of Gentlemen
It's a bit Little Britain, Catherine Tate, Mighty Boosh, etc. isn't it? A little more thought out than slapstick but not at all subtle.
Re: The League of Gentlemen
Yes it is strange and weird and IMO very funny
Re: The League of Gentlemen
Not a fan of little Britain or Catherine Tate but I have seen a few episodes of the mighty boosh and I enjoyed it for how weird it was. Same with Shooting stars. The wife is out tonight so I will binge a few episodes
