Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
Seems a little extreme saying,
"Can I transfer my ticket to a friend if I am unable to attend?
No, any supporters found to be transferring tickets will have their ticket removed, will not be allowed to enter the stadium, and will receive a stadium ban from future matches at Turf Moor"

Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
FAQ’S
What photo ID can I use?
The club will accept a passport or drivers license as proof of identity. These must be originals. Photocopies WILL NOT be accepted, nor will ID badges, print-outs, photos taken on mobile phones etc
Serious question - what if you have neither of these forms of ID?
Not me, but it does effect one member of our group, who would be ellegable for tickets on day 2.

Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
That's a good question - no idea what the answer could be because I think they are the only acceptable options in terms of photo proof of ID.bfcfan1882 wrote:FAQ’S

Unfortunate but has been done the fairest way and to meet UEFA regulations. I have over 6000 and imagine it's unlikely I'll get tickets but such is life

It's 350 per year so if you've had one since it was introduced in 2004/05 you must have at least 5,250KRBFC wrote:How many points are you at CT? Any idea on the number of points those who have bought a ST every year will have?

Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
I know i'm jumping way ahead however, I can't wait for the arrangements if we qualify and are away in the third round first leg. Imagine the club would speak to Sport Options for transport but they would have to announce preliminary ticket information before the Aberdeen second leg with less than a week to organise anything.

There was also a bonus year as well wasn't there? Was that 600?ClaretTony wrote:It's 350 per year so if you've had one since it was introduced in 2004/05 you must have at least 5,250
I'd guess if you're much over 9,500 total, it's a blip but there were some seasons (probably about 8-10 seasons ago) when it was mayhem trying to get the points corrected, so manual adjustments had to be made which weren't always accurate.

Where do you find out how many points you have?
Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
You could potentially have bought a season ticket for the past 60 years in a row and not have enough points to get a ticket, well done BFC on making sure those glory seekers have no chance.

Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
Well UEFA regulations state:ClaretTony wrote:UEFA regulations
When allocating match tickets to travel agents, the match organiser and the participating associations or clubs are responsible for ensuring that:
a) tickets are allocated only against production of documentary proof of identification of the spectators to whom tickets have been sold;
There's nothing about bans and the like.

Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
The lads I travel with are all over 9,000 but we have all been regular away travellers for a lot of those years. Given the away games I've been to since the system came in, I would imagine I'm up in the top bracket. I've currently got 10,650.thatdberight wrote:There was also a bonus year as well wasn't there? Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
I'm kind of on the fence on this because nothing will ever be "fair" to everyone but if you've been a ST holder and not gone to any away games, is it fair to decide to go to Aberdeen? Even since 2004/05 we've been pretty sh*t at times, so maybe those who've gone to see defeats against rubbish deserve the day out.KRBFC wrote:You could potentially have bought a season ticket for the past 60 years in a row and not have enough points to get a ticket, well done BFC on making sure those glory seekers have no chance.

The way the points structure has been decided I think it's impossible for any one under 16 to get a ticket.

It's your Clarets Number and, if you haven't used the online system previously, the password should be your postcode.KRBFC wrote:I have never registered for an account, so where do I magic up a password from?
Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
The system is completely flawed though because you could have started following Burnley 10 years ago and attended nearly every game yet still miss out on tickets. The points should either reset every 2 years or scrap the system entirely.thatdberight wrote:I'm kind of on the fence on this because nothing will ever be "fair" to everyone but if you've been a ST holder and not gone to any away games, is it fair to decide to go to Aberdeen? I'd imagine you are. That would suggest you've got c 5,000 non ST points in 14 seasons. I did forget that when you buy a ticket for a random friend, you get 10 for that too.

I've built up a list of around 40 over time, albeit many I no longer get tickets for. I only need a list of around five now though but others could have a lot more to add again.wilks_bfc wrote:Thanks Tony

Unless we send some of our own staff up there who is going to be checking tickets? The local stewards and police won't give a monkeys who is in the away end I would have thought.

We will have staff up there in terms of the ticketing. This is a strict UEFA ruling that we have to adhere to.jrgbfc wrote:Unless we send some of our own staff up there who is going to be checking tickets? Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
I don't think the club understand that the young people that watch us are the future long term supporters of the club and should lower the under 16 points needed for this category of ticket. If they constantly can't get tickets for the bigger games they could well give up coming to watch Burnley for good.
Re: Aberdeen v Burnley - Ticket Information
I'm with KRBFC. The loyalty point system needs a complete overhaul.
