Re: Congrats France.
And congrats to Blackburn for beating Rochdale last season.
Re: Congrats France.
I didn't expect my OP to be particularly popular.. There are French residents post on here though I think.
Re: Congrats France.
Yeah Congrats France on being the best of a bad bunch in probably the lowest standard World Cup I've ever seen. The World Cup of the weak and the farcical VAR

Re: Congrats France.
Congratulations must go to the African and French 11, they were certainly one of the most consistent performers in the tournement.
I think we could certainly learn a trick or 2 from them.
Ivory Coast and co must be kicking themselves.

You want more migrants in the england team?MACCA wrote:Congratulations must go to the African and French 11, they were certainly one of the most consistent performers in the tournement.

Re: Congrats France.
I picked them in the BBC predictor before the final but it was to beat Brazil. Lots of French school children going mad in Canterbury after. I gave them a cheer.

I'd like England to win the world cup, if that means handing out passports like the germans/French then so be it.Japebe43 wrote:You want more migrants in the england team?

What's that got to do with you not getting any?KRBFC wrote:Says the Basturd fan who has been posting on Burnley football forums for 10 years....

But if you are speculating as to how many of them were BORN in France, the answer is all of them but two.
And those 2:
Umtiti moved to France from Cameroon aged 2, and the reserve keeper Mandanda was also 2 when he moved to France from what was Zaire at the time. (Now Dem Rep of Congo). So they lived in France for 60 years between them)
So it's pretty hard to make any case that this isn't a home made team - Made in France.

Re: Congrats France.
Probably is fishing.
But if it wasnt its contradictory. As Germany got knocked out in the groups.
Besides going down that route...
We have:
Sterling
Walker
Rose
Young
Trippier
Rashford
Loftus-Cheek
Lingaard
Alli
Wellbeck
Delph
Alexander-Arnold
Who are all 'bloody foreigners' that we have handed passports out to. So 60 percent of our outfield players.

This World Cup has been a belter. France have been the best team and did deserve it. I wonder how we would have fared against them?

Oh and I believe the Pope is Argentinian...
Re: Congrats France.
France was superior to all the rest and did deserve their win
It seemed that some England players were carrying injuries.
Maybe Southgate could have been cannier with selection in some positions after we qualified for the knockouts.

Say what you want about France but their preparation for this tournament was second to none. Spent half the 19th century conquering Africa so they could build this side
I've let him know how disgusting it was, and reiterated that many people in Great Britain love to find offence at the most meaningless of things.

Re: Congrats France.
I suppose most teams who win the WC deserve congratulations as all games are played away from home in the Comp.
Thought they were a well balanced, disciplined and controled team on the whole.
