Re: Qatar 2022
I honestly believe 2022 won't take place in Qatar. I reckon in the next couple of years FIFA will realise their mistake and ask us to step in and take over, England is one of a handful of countries that could host a tournament with little notice as we already have the infrastructure, plenty of good/big enough grounds and training facilities.

Hey Tim you had me for a minute there. I thought 'I didn't say all that' until I realised you cocked up a bit on the quote thing. I think I get your drift though.

If England do not qualify, Burnley will win the Premier League as all the other clubs will lose their foreign players to the World Cup

What even in Nov-Dec?Pearcey wrote:I’ve spent a lot of time in Qatar. The humidity at night is horrendous. Had to use windscreen wipers when driving. I have to say, I don’t think it’s a good place to stage the World Cup.

Surprisingly there are reports of skullduggery concerning the decision to award the 2022 World Cup to that impoverished but historic football-loving country. Shoct and stunt. Former CIA agents allegedly involved. Possibly Mossad personnel too, blue lab.

Re: Qatar 2022
It’s stupid to keep it in Qatar. There’s plenty of time to rearrange to another venue.
