Very pleased with this. Was hoping we would be in for him when the season ended (and Derby failed to get promotion) 4 main strikers at the club now this gives us options which can only be good.

Should - theoretically - reduce his price tag, (since WBA can no longer hold us to ransom), so if he wants to leave, and WBA need to sell, then we can offer less, and if they reject it, we can go in even lower in January.

Good business. Decent age, decent price tag compared to what we paid for last season's top Championship goalscorer.

It isn't a risk free signing but its a risk worth taking. He'll inject a bit of directness and creativity into the middle of the park for us, and I think Lennon and Gudmunddson might well benefit from his presence when he plays.

If Vydra is signed alongside Jay than tgis is fantastic. If this is instead of Jay then its not brilliant but you have to give credit to the club for moving fast to get a backup option sorted so quickly

Think we are still short in quality up top (though overloaded in numbers) and one creative player short in the misdle but at least things are happening and seems like we've still some irons in the fire

I wouldn’t mind if Brady started and Taylor was his cover. Not a winger as such but neither is Trips. Certainly gets down the line with pace and gets his crosses away.
