Apart from the kids. One woman was voiciferous in her displeasure that two young kids had managed to get tickets. She couldn't believe that they had enough points to get over there. Despite the fact it went to season ticket and general sale...

Re: Travelling Clarets
Great effort...gutted I could't go and now looking forward to a European night at Turf Moor next Thursday. Whenever Turkish sides play in this country my impression is that are massively well-supported. However this support , I've always assumed, comes largely from the Turkish community in Britain and usually it's one of the big-name long-established clubs like Besiktas, Galatasaray etc. I'd like to think the away end will be packed with noisy Turks next week but I doubt the ex-pats will get behind this lot who appear to be a wealthier, more successful Turkish MK Dons.

It's called dedication, sounds like you didn't realise the word existed, these fans did this in less than a week to plan, travel, expense, location, work issues, get real, these people fully deserve a round of applause.TheFamilyCat wrote:I've never really understood the need to congratulate football fans for going to a football match.

Sounded absolutely immense on TV, well done all. Hell of a lot of time and money to get out there.
Re: Travelling Clarets
I don't normally comment on these type of threads but given the short notice involved I think that was an excellent turn out by the Clarets. Well done to them all. I have just shown the above picture to a proper Man Utd fan and he was well impressed. Do we have an official figure of how many travelled.
