Richarlison
Re: Richarlison
I wonder if this transfer will coincidentally lead to Watford dropping their claim against Everton for compensation over Marco Silva.

His 'one fire' spell literally coincides with whenl Silva was in charge.
Aug-December under Silva - 5 goals 5 assists
Jan-May under Garcia - bugger all
Now two goals in one games under... guess who

He got all of those goals and most of the assists by mid October, what happened between then and when Silva was dismissed mid January?CombatClaret wrote:Look closer.

I love it when I'm right.IndigoLake wrote:Richarlison is an extremely good player and I am absolutely certain that he will score a brace in Everton's opening game of the season. However, it probably won't be enough and Everton will only come away with a draw (probably 2-2) as they can't defend.

No plays wide left with Tosun upfront I think, they probably overpaid but a 21 year old Brazilian who clearly has ability and high potential with the market rising he could easily be worth a lot more.Quickenthetempo wrote:Is he playing out and out Centre forward for Everton?

Top manager, no doubt about it, the way he got that down and out Hull side playing and Watford were fantastic before Everton came sniffing and he downed tools.Vegas Claret wrote:another ****** who blames the ref etc every time he doesn't get his own way. Took the goal well but will bomb again.
Its early days Bournemouth are second so you know things are squewed at the moment.
Order will be restored with a win today and back up to 7th.

Can you show me why getting Hull to play a bit of football is a fantastic achievement.KRBFC wrote:Top manager, no doubt about it, the way he got that down and out Hull side playing and Watford were fantastic before Everton came sniffing and he downed tools.
They still got relegated and many clubs often get a managerial bounce but go down all the same. His away record with them wasn't good.

Re: Richarlison
Bit of a Coyle for me. Gees them up, gets everyone feeling great about themselves, wins a fair few on the back of that but then when the rollercoaster is on the downhill and actual normal tactics are needed what's he got?
Re: Richarlison
They were doomed when he took over, spent no money, worked the loan market fantastically well and took it right down to the wire. Even Steve Bruce walked out of the club he took up before the season started, a lost cause. I believe from the moment he took over they picked up more points than 14 or so other sides. Ultimately it wasn't enough but why else do you think he's now managing Everton and not Hull in the Championship? because he did a very good job.Spijed wrote:Can you show me why getting Hull to play a bit of football is a fantastic achievement.

Hull were three points behind 17th when he took over.
Hardly doomed.
They finished six points from safety.

I think he should change his name to Richardson. It sounds like his folks were drunk at the Christening.

Another game thrown away. Can Silva get the required discipline in his side?
Eddie Howe did a number on him just as Dyche has done previously.

At home against 10 men for a while wouldn't be classed as doing a job for me.
I like both managers by the way

And all Silva did was wave his arms at the officials for 90 mins.
