Our tempo is horrible and we are trying to do the same things over and over again and it ain’t working anymore.
Worrying that we are not engaging defensively either.
Is there trouble behind closed doors? The team aren’t together to me somethings wrong.

Changes need to be made instantly-no point messing about. Lennon off please and Vydra on. Apart from tracking back he has offered nothing AGAIN, See how that goes then if necessary Barnes on for Wood. They are murdering us
Re: Mighty Clarets versus Manky Utd
Something not right . It's a different set up . Commentator saying it's an afternoon tea for utd and they will bury us in second half .
They don't recognise "this Burnley ' as they are saying .

No guts, no guile. McNeil is standing out as he's the most hungry. The die for each other spirit has gone. We look devoid of confidence and ideas. Not looking good.

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Manky Utd
It's very similar to what happened at Leeds before we signed him. The other clubs in the Championship worked out that if they sat on Wood and took him out of the equation Leeds would find it very difficult to score. This coincided with them dropping out of the playoff spots and down the table towards the end of the season.Vegas Claret wrote:and to think I got criticised for this
Hopefully, we can change it about for the second half and start playing with a bit more courage and commitment. We are showing them far to much respect and they are using it to make space and carve us up.

Re: Mighty Clarets versus Manky Utd
Attacking individual players is never the answer. They are trying to do the job they've been asked to do. If they are out of form and struggling its up to the management team to help them. If we need an extra motivational coach adding even for a short time its up to those hiring and firing to sort it. Another defeat today (even given its United) this is no longer a blip.

Nothing to do with Jay, so far this season we have played defenders and kids in midfield. We have zero options on the bench. We all know where our shortfall is but you keep smiling and pretending all is well.

There is no disgrace losing today, what is worrying is the lack of desire and solidity,we are not even making them work for their goals.
Need to take stock during the international break, before we face three winnable games Wolves (a) Bournemouth (H) AND Cardiff (a) need to gain at least 4 points from those fixtures, just to keep us in touch.

On holiday in Durham City and just logged
in and we’re getting the tonking I feared.
Can we do anything about it in the second half?
By the sound of it and looking at the stats it’s highly unlikely. We need a miracle.

Nothing wood can do. He is double teamed on every cross. Just too easy for the United defence.

I'll predict Wolves 4 Burnley 0
Burnley 0 Bournemouth 3
Cardiff 2 Burnley 0
We cant score if we don't create chances and unless Dyche changes we will go down 100%

He’s responsible for getting us up in the first place but he’d also be wholly responsible if we drop, given the relative strength we should’ve had this season.

Why pump balls into the box from open play when we are outnumbered and playing against probably the tallest team in the league?

Cause Dyche hasn't watched a single Man Utd game all season, the most predictable line up by Jose and we play 1 up top. ******* schoolboy stuff by Dyche and like it or not he's been found it at this levelcareyclaret wrote:Why pump balls into the box from open play when we are outnumbered and playing against probably the tallest team in the league?

No, we proved last season it wasn't about money - it's to do with tactics, work rate and a slice of luck - something we haven't seen this season in the PL other than first half away at SaintsSpaceman wrote:It's all about money ain't it ? Re: Mighty Clarets versus Manky Utd
The same chairman that has backed SD with the investment in the club this last few years. The one that has sanctioned Barnfield to replace a training facility that was in the main only usable in the summer months? I don't buy it. It is not Garlick that tries to nullify the opposition for an hour.... no matter how much that isn't working?PutTheWheelieBinsOut wrote:Dyche isn't the problem! This finger pointing has to stop and ALL those involved need to use the International break to get to the bottom of the problems we have on the pitch and get it sorted. Now we get to see how adaptable our management team is.... our fail safe position isn't working either we find out why or we change it.

Barnes has the ability to wind up and unsettle defenders which allows Wood the space he needs, not to mention his greater movement, which is why the partnership works.KefkaClaret wrote:Has Dyche forgotten we won 5 on the bounce with Barnes and Wood?

Bit early to start slagging Dyche and some players off yet.
We need to take stock and go back to basics, start with a couple of nil Nils them move forward.
We are definitely lacking confidence.
