Happy Arsenal has been moved to 12:30pm as i can make the Josh Warrington v Carl Frampton fight too now.
Huddersfield being moved is rubbish as always enjoyed a New Years Day match.

One televised game between two other teams has forced two of our games to be moved. Thankfully it's Huddersfield and not a long distance game.1989_claret wrote:Happy Arsenal has been moved to 12:30pm as i can make the Josh Warrington v Carl Frampton fight too now.

Agreed. Hopefully means we are safe to book trains for Palace and Spurs away too.ClaretTony wrote:One televised game between two other teams has forced two of our games to be moved. Thankfully it's Huddersfield and not a long distance game.

Despite is “localness” Huddersfield moving is still crap.
Its now become a midweek evening game, when most people would be going back to work after Christmas/New Year break

Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
Shame about Huddersfield being moved. Always a good day out there. Suppose it will make it easier to get tickets now!
Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
If BT haven't announced their games yet I would hang fire. Generally no once the TV games have been announced they don't get moved.ClaretShaun wrote:About to book Spurs train.

Tickets for the Huddersfield game should be a lot easier to get hold of now
Could also have bought into the window if we get our new director of sport right in time for a debut in this game

Huddersfield game now be played on Wednesday 2nd January with a 7:45 p.m. kick off
New years day 3:00pm kick-off would have been great!

I suspect we probably won't even need to ask for the full 3,000 allocation for the Huddersfield game.
Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
Looks like BT have announced all their games anyway. There has been a game moved to Saturday 5.30 that day, which is the BT slot.Bop wrote:Forgot about BT - just booked Spurs trains and hotel. Oops.

Absolutely horrible. Premier league is shite for stuff like this. Still can’t really complain given the £££ we get.

Trains from Manchester all full price at the moment.Bop wrote:Forgot about BT - just booked Spurs trains and hotel. Oops.
Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
Yeah I had a look at trains the other night. Hopefully means the cheaper fares haven't been released yet.
Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
Over the moon that the Huddersfield game has been moved for several reasons
A full day on the beer
Not rough from NYE
No silly transport restrictions
Doesn't impact on family day ( new years day)
No early get up/set off time for transport and beers
Love a game under the lights
Anyone wanting to go can
Happy days!

Normally do Huddersfield by train, Macca. Love it, but doubt we'll get back. Might be looking at a minibus.MACCA wrote:Over the moon that the Huddersfield game has been moved for several reasons

Very odd. Is it me or is it £86 return Manc London. Every single Saturday Nov and Dec?Granny WeatherWax wrote:Trains from Manchester all full price at the moment.
Doesn’t seem to be advance rates on any?
Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
Yeah not sure what is going on with the trains. Going to give it a few days and hopefully some advance fares will appear. Very strange that there doesn't even look to be any for November either though, pretty sure they can't have all gone already.

You can get a coach via National Express that takes between 4 1/2 - 5 hrs.ClaretShaun wrote:Very odd. Is it me or is it £86 return Manc London. Every single Saturday Nov and Dec?

Certainly worth looking at.
Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
Yeah train there, minibus back or minibus both ways, only be a tenner.Elder statesman wrote:Normally do Huddersfield by train, Macca. Love it, but doubt we'll get back. Might be looking at a minibus.
Miles better IMO moving it on a day, especially for me

It's the Premier League who announce the games and that includes both Sky & BT. The BT game that weekend is Fulham v West Ham.ClaretShaun wrote:About to book Spurs train.

Advance fares are expected to be out early this week. I tweeted Virgin Rail about it so that is straight from the horses mouth. East Coast have already released theirs so the best I could get going from Leeds was 58 quid.ClaretShaun wrote:Even 27th Oct. blanket pricing. Never seen it before

Re: ARTICLE: Four forthcoming Burnley fixtures get new dates/times
I’ve Justin checked. The previous 2 Saturdays you can get £22 each way Manc to Lon. So within days we will Ben able to do that for the 15th. Shame. Was only 5/6 years ago you could do it for £11 each way.jrgbfc wrote:Advance fares are expected to be out early this week. I tweeted Virgin Rail about it so that is straight from the horses mouth. The Leeds ones have been and gone, fella. I almost tooo the chance 2-3 weeks ago as was £13 e/w Leeds London. But was convinced would be moved for tv. Bit annoying as Leeds is easier.

Yeah we got screwed with that one too. I had a good moan at the club about last minute changes and got a wall of fog. Really wary about booking the train but if they change we’ll just have a day on the beer insteadVintage Claret wrote:Our away game v Spurs a couple of seasons ago wasn't on TV but was still moved from Saturday to Sunday after the TV fixtures were announced

West Ham (H) moving is annoying. Had planned to go to that on the Saturday before flying back on the Sunday. Bloody telly. Suppose there may be a late flight option

Moved because the West Ham game in the previous midweek was moved to Wednesday because West Ham were on TV on the previous SundayVintage Claret wrote:Our away game v Spurs a couple of seasons ago wasn't on TV but was still moved from Saturday to Sunday after the TV fixtures were announced
