Why do our players look so exhausted?
Why do our players look so exhausted?
Watched the game on a stream. What really stood out is our lack of energy. Not toward the end of the match but right from the kick off. Has something changed in the training schedules? Have they been put on a new kind of diet?
Obviously loss of confidence is part of the problem but I'm at a loss to explain what's happened this season.
Complete bed rest until Wednesday teatime would be my advice.

Probably bored to tears more than anything, sat in seminars and lectures all day listening to Dyche talk about framework and will and demand and shape.
They obviously rarely get on to the training pitches to practice playing football.

The Dyche fit is a myth. Every team looks sharper and better than ours.

If you watch Charlie Taylor he never kicks the ball with his right foot, he always turns and uses his left, when it is easier to use his right.

Looked more like a dog that had been kicked too often.

I thought we look tired today , it's draining when you give everything to find it's not enough , we need some fresh blood 3 or 4 players in , it's a boost in confidence we need to energise the team

I don’t think they are exhausted.
I just think they are not trying as hard.

We could've plucked 11 fans out the pub and mustered zero efforts on goal.
Would've played with more passion tho.

Re: Why do our players look so exhausted?
Absolutely the case that the players have lost heart. Sean keeps saying we can't compete. ..in so many words. It's then hard to then convince them that they can. Many realise that they've peaked and it's down hill from now. Less then 30 and you're never going to be as successful....not easy to take. Blame is shared equally between manager, player's and fans....but the fans are paying as opposed to being paid.
