Spoke to Leon Osman randomly about a week after he joined us. He said Everton wanted to keep him but he thought he’d have more opportunity to play at Burnley. It never worked here and he’s really played very little first team football since. Not going to be the first player to show a lot of promise early on, but never quite make that step up as a professional.
