Spurs are playing awful. GK missed a sitter and Trips missed a penalty!

Re: Tottenham and penalties
Put a fiver on Trippier next scorer when they got that free kick just outside box. He then passed it.
Thought my luck was really in when I saw him stepping up for the pen.
Oh well.

Trippier misses a penalty. Not sure what his salary is but I wager it isn’t high relatively speaking. Spurs fans generally don’t rate him, and he’s had a poor season. We should be looking for a young RB in summer but if we can’t get what we want then he’s certainly something to think about.
Re: Tottenham and penalties
Trippier has had a poor season, responsible for the goals that cost them the games against City and United at home. Probably just needs a rest, played pretty much every game at the World Cup and was then straight into pre season at Spurs.

Re: Tottenham and penalties
He won’t be the highest paid player at spurs, but I’d wager he’d be way out of our price bracket as far as wages are concerned.SGr wrote:Trippier misses a penalty. Trippier joins Eric Dier.

He won’t be out of our bracket now, but it’s a case of would he take a marginal increase or the same wage for guaranteed football but not living in London anymore. Instict says no, sadly.bobinho wrote:He won’t be the highest paid player at spurs, but I’d wager he’d be way out of our price bracket as far as wages are concerned.

Re: Tottenham and penalties
I fancied he’d miss when the wind blew it off the spot twice and then the ref made him re-spot it. Very unsettling.
