Heaton - 10 (Commanding and unlucky to concede the second)
Bardsley - 8
Tarkowski - 8
Mee - 8
Taylor - 8
Hendrick - 7 (Would have been 8 but for the pen)
Westwood - 8
Cork - 9 (Great interception for the first goal and looked comfortable on the ball under pressure)
McNeil - 7 (Had little impact but still had the confidence to take shots on and test De Gea)
Wood - 6 (Would have been 5 but for his goal, however did pressure high up the pitch well)
Barnes - 8 (Bullied all night, great finish with his left under pressure)

Heaton 9 - Some outstanding saves and unlucky with the equaliser

Bardsley 8 - Excellent
Tarks 8 - Like above
Mee 8 - Like above
Taylor 9* - He has been excellent for a while now but this was the best of the lot

Hendrick 7 - Soft pen but needless arm on Lingard which allowed him to go down like he'd been shot
Westwood 8 - Another assist
Cork 8 - Solid
McNeil - 7 - Tidy and positive but tired (understandably)

Barnes 8 - Emphatic finish
Wood 8 - Good movement and good finish

JBG 7

High marks for what I felt was a winning performance against the leagues form team. Can't really fault the players. Shame we switched off from the corner clearance for their equaliser but other than that we were outstanding defensively.

heaton - 9 excellent and his best save didn't even count

bardsley - 8 solid

tarkowski - 9 ridiculously assured

mee - 9 same as tarkowski

taylor - 9 man of the match for me, he was outstanding tonight

cork - 8 excellent pressing and showed great composure to slide in barnes for the 1st goal

westwood - 8 lovely cross in for the 2nd

hendrick - 7 naive but unlucky for the penalty as it gives lingard the option to con the ref, which he took with aplomb

mcneil - 7 not overawed on the big stage and tested de gea with a fine strike from distance

barnes - 8 tempted to give him 10 as he won me 40 quid for getting booked. emphatic finish.

wood - 7 lovely header, placed right where de gea knew he couldn't get to

back to front we were excellent tonight and have been denied taking 3 points of the county's in-form media darlings by two poor refereeing decisions.

better to concentrate on our performance though, which was everything we showed last season. grit, determination, patience, composure and playing the right way at the right times. we can play better for sure but no one can knock getting a point we'd all have taken before kick off, even if we deserved all 3.

Heaton 10 Only beaten by pen and offside goal
Bardsley 8
Tarks 9
Mee 9
Taylor 10 Had Lingaard covered if Hendrick didnt give away pen
Hendrick 8 Stupid to give Lingaard the chance to simulate for the pen. Otherwise excellent
Westwood 8 Busy
Cork 8
Mcneil 7 Game passed him by a little but still showed tons of quality
Barnes 10 Gave United defence a torrid time. Great finish and was excellent first line of defence. Could not have done more
Wood 8 Front 2 are getting better as a unit every game

Gutted we didnt win but not many will win at OT with such bias in favour of home team. Great point. 5 PL unbeaten. Beat Saints and we will be well on our way to safety

All 9 except Heaton 10.
Great performance and everyone did something special during the match.

Heaton made breathtakingly saves. Hence, the 10.

Very proud to be a Claret.

Heaton 9 (MOM) - Two absolute top class saves. Played extremely well.
Bardsley 8 - Once again shines, absolutely nullifying Rashford.
Tarks 8 - Excellent
Mee 8 - Excellent
Taylor 9 - Excellent, one of his best games for us to date.
Hendrick 8 - Seems a different player in the new position
Westwood 8 - Works his socks off.
Cork 8 - Nothing outstanding, but did a good solid job.
McNeil 8 - When he picks up that ball and runs at the opposition it's magic. Rasping shot saved by De Gea.
Barnes 8 - Deserved his goal.
Wood 8 - First half he was terrible, but definitely perked up for the second half and took his goal well.

JBG - Thought he looked really good when he came on. Very promising to see him looking back to his old self.

Overall really impressed with this performance. Gutted we couldn't hold on, but anyone saying we would go away to this current UTD side, on their current form and we would get a 2-2 draw, I would have taken that in a heartbeat. COYC!

I thinj it was nore of a case that Jesse was a Jessie and flung himself backwards, at the slightest touch. I call it cheating but some don't and I really don't understand why they don't.

Heaton 9
Bardsley 9
Tarks 9
Mee 9
Taylor 9 ** His best game for us to date.

Hendrick 8 Feel for him. Done by the amateur dramatics.
Westwood 8
Cork 8
McNeil 8
Barnes 8
Wood 8

Still not watched the first team win a game in Salford.
Last night was 1967 revisited.
Football is a lot different now though. Proud of that performance.

Heaton 9 excellent, unlucky with the 2nd, if only itd gone round the post
Bardsley 7
Tarks 9 solid
Mee 8
Taylor 9 mom 2 immense block and several very important back post headers. Best game in a claret and blue
Hendrick 6 the pen was stupid, and cost us 2 points, however the 3 times he gave the ball away 1st half all led to genuine goal scoring chances. Very lucky with the Rashford 1. Our 2 goals can't mask it for me.
Westwood 8
Cork 8
McNeil 7
Barnes 8
Wood 8

Feels like 2 points dropped, but you just could sense it coming as soon as they got the first, from a soft but silly mistake.
To be fair we played well, but a draw is the best we deserved if we are honest, so have to be happy with it.

Heaton 10 (MOM) outstanding saves literally world class
Bardsley 8 never stopped and though a bit outpaced sone top blocks
Tarks 8 barely put a foot wrong
Mee 8 braveheart tonight the Mee of old great headers
Taylor 8 best I’ve seen him getting smarter
Hendrick 8 another solid show and best he’s been at present
Westwood 8 As per Hendrick
Cork 8 worked like George Boyd on speed
McNeil 7 I feel he needs a rest though some nice link up stuff and a shot
Barnes 8 1 for the goal didn’t get a lot to feed on but was growling at em
Wood 8 confident which is gold for a front man took the header well and another couple of efforts

Terribly unlucky with the pen which was softer then cotton wool - Lingard /deli Ali appeared to have been shot with an elephant gun

Heaton - 9

Bardsley - 8
Tarks - 9
Mee - 8
Taylor - 9

Jeff - 6 (-2 for the pen. Clear penalty too)
Westwood - 8
Cork - 9
McNeil - 7

Barnes - 9
Wood - 7 (Plus 2 for the goal other than that poor)

Dyche - 10

Excellent night of football. Shame we couldn’t hang on. Relieved to see how much better we are playing since Everton we look like the time of last season. Would have loved to have seen us being on a holding MF when we went 2 up just to see it out but it shows how bare the squad is. Hopefully we can get a couple in before Friday and then we be confident in staying up. UTC

I'm not sure about that. 2-0 up with 10 mins to go and Utd having pretty much 100% of the ball and penning us in.....I would have hoped to see Wood replaced by Gibson, Ward or even Benson to try and block things up in the middle.

Heaton 9- gives the team much more assurance. Unlucky to concede two (guessed right way for pen) especially after saving Sanchez header.
Bardsley 7- competitive and resolute only issue was not in vicinity of 3 man Utd players on back post for second goal.
Tarkowski 8- Kept Lukaku and Rashforx quiet.
Mee 8- as Tarkowski
Taylor 8- usually a critic but that performance was great stopped crosses and also some good headers when tucking in.
Westwood 8- neat on the ball and industrious off it.
Cork 8- lovely weighted pass for Barnes goal linked play really well.
McNeil 8- The young lad is getting better all the time and is becoming our best winger, not surprised he tired
Hendrick 7- This is proving to be his best position shouldn't have pulled lingard but that apart stuck to his task.
Wood 8- great headed finish. Needs to stay onside more even though he plays on last man.
Barnes 8- Again takes a lot of weight off the team with combatitive style. Superb power that gave de gea no chance.

Last nights performance has to be one of the finest in recent memory, and I find it difficult to mark. It was a complete team performance that left me proud and still buzzing. Anyway if I must........

Heaton 9*-If anyone had any doubt who Burnley's Number 1(or Englands) was they should have been at OT last night.
Bardsley 8-Thought he neutralised United main threat really well.
Tarkowski 9-Hope he wasn't sending any messages to United. Absolutely immense.
Mee 8-The Ben of old.
Taylor 9-This lad's taken some stick on here, not from me but he is star quality.
Hendrick 8-Couple of mistakes and wrong side of Lingard for pen but he worked his socks off.
Westwood 8-Another sound performance.
Cork 9-Jack's best game for quite a while.
McNeil 8-Valuable experience and the lad wasn't overawed by the venue.
Barnes 9-A handful as always. Took goal well.
Wood 8-Worked tirelessly and has been a revelation over the last month. Hope it continues.

Funnily enough, I think we've played better at Old Trafford, but we've never been so unfortunate not to get 3 points. What an absolutely herculean effort that was.

Heaton - 8 - Only really had to make two saves of note, but made them brilliantly, and was as assuring a presence as the last time he represented us on that ground.

Bardsley - 8 - After the first 25 minutes, his was the quieter side, but he defended brilliantly at times.

Taylor - 9 - HIs best game in a Burnley shirt. Sometimes exposed down his flank, but he defended the box brilliantly but also did a sterling job when he had to go one v one with Young.

Tarks - 10 - you just won't see a better defensive performance.

Mee - 9 - Lukaku tried, to bully him, and whilst we creaked a couple of times, he never, ever gave way.

Cork - 9 - Perhaps the biggest positive last night was that this fella is back to his best. Perhaps even his best performance in a Burnley shirt. Kept the ball, won the ball, got forward when he could and of course the opening goal was all his work.

Westwood - 8 - Another really busy, impressive performance capped with an assist.

Hendrick - 6 - Worked really hard, but caught in possession a few times in the first half and gave the penalty away needlessly at the end of the second - which was ironic, because he'd previously played a huge role in neutralising the threat of Young down that side after swapping with McNeil.

McNeil - 6 - Some lovely flashes, but we were often too deep for him to be really effective and defensively he struggled enormously with Young.

Barnes - 7 - Took his goal brilliantly, and a nuisance to United all evening on an evening which was always going to involve feeding on scraps.

Wood - 7 - Showed his mobility to good effect at times even if his first touch really needs to be more reliable, took his goal well and looked to have set us up for a really memorable victory.

This was an absolute defensive masterclass from pretty much the entire team - we had to do a huge amount of defending of our own box, but we did it so brilliantly that for long periods Heaton was really an interested spectator, not unlike the Liverpool home win two and a half years ago. The centre halves were particularly immense, but both full backs and the two central midfielders were almost on a par, and Hendrick in particular did a sterling job of bunging up the narrow channel on the flanks.

If we're being hyper-critical, we can keep (and have kept) the ball better in games like these - the defeat 4 years ago when Ings scored springs to mind - and our lack of pace on the counter was exposed a bit at times - but that's probably being a bit churlish on an evening when we've scored two goals and come so desperately close to a win which we probably deserved for our defending alone.

I didn't go so was only able to listened to updates on R5 but those hight marks above really do highlight the level of performance for me.

We are really are doing very well again.

Heaton - 9 Phenomenal
Bardsley - 8
Tarkowski - 9 I thought he was imperious
Mee - 8
Taylor - 8
Hendrick - 6
Cork - 8
Westwood - 8
McNeil - 7
Barnes - 8
Wood - 7

So unlucky not to get a famous win. Great game.

You have to realise that not 1 of our XI would have got near to being selected for United.
Heaton 10 If only his distribution was better
Bardsley 8 Had Rashford scared to death
Tarkowski 9 Solid throughout
Mee 9 Solid throughout
Taylor 8 Solid but always looks like there is a mistake waiting to happen
McNeil 8 Calm even when given the ball under pressure. Great effort on goal.
Cork 9 Back to his best at last
Westwood 7 harried and hustled but things din't quite run for him. Should have had a penalty against him for the deliberate handball
Hendrick 8 worked tirelessly on both sides. Shame about the pen.
Wood 9 Worked hard for the 96 minutes. Took the goal well and ran the channels continually. Couple of dodgy looking offsides calls against him too.
Barnes 7 Harassed and harried . Given him 1 extra for the goal but he wasn't a good outlet for the most part. His hold up play was barely visible

We wasn’t leaving our own box never mind half. Totally agree about Wood going off and Gibson coming onto shore things up.
