Who would you like to see promoted?
Providing we stay up, who would you like to come up?
The 3 weakest teams?
The 3 closest?
For me Bristol City, Sheff Utd and Norwich.
Bored of playing the others.

Re: Who would you like to see promoted?
I felt for Sheffield Utd supporters at Wembley back in 09. Soft, yes I know, but it's a long way to go for such a game, and the journey home will have been testing.* They've had lean times since. Hopefully they'll come up. I am hoping West Brom boing back for Jay, and I'd love to see Bristol City upset the odds too.
*not an emotion I could share with our self proclaimed 'fiercest rivals' on our visit to Wembley in 94 though, lol

Re: Who would you like to see promoted?
Our ‘94 Wembley rivals visit my local side Guiseley in a mammoth encounter tomorrow. Could the contrast between the two teams be greater since that final?Zom Zom wrote:I felt for Sheffield Utd supporters at Wembley back in 09. Norwich,Sheff Utd and Bristol City are the 3 that gives us the best chance of staying up next season so has to be those three.

Re: Who would you like to see promoted?
I'd add Boro to Leeds for not coming up.
Whoever comes up we have a real advantage over any of them, if we can stay up. Fulham and Wolves both had advantages that none of this year's possibilities do, and even then Fulham look like they'll surrender at the first attempt.
It's bloody hard to stay up, amazing to think how well we've done.

Norwich. One of my best mates is a Norwich City fan and we've missed the two teams playing each other in recent years. We have swapped places in the PL and Championship a few times now. Let's hope Norwich are the only team of the two to be changing league this season

Re: Who would you like to see promoted?
Sorry, but I would l like
Leeds
Rovers
Sheff utd
All 3 because they are good games, bring a good crowd, good atmosphere and its potential away days.
Possibly all 3 are beatable, Derby is dull, Villa might beat us and be more of a draw for players, Middlesborough is dull and Bristol is too far.
Yeah I hate* Leeds and Rovers but that's what I want - football with atmosphere, tension, rivalry and hence my choices.
I want to feel sick with tension before a game.
*you know what - I don't actually hate any teams I just love beating some more than others.

Provided we stay up (long way to go):
Norwich - local for me.
Sheff Utd - good day out.
Derby - 6 points guaranteed.

Seems not many want Leeds and I’ll join that group. Funny when Derby miss out too.

Leeds - I want to see how they cope charging away fans £30. Maybe there will be a £14 exit fee
Norwich - Brilliant away day when it's sunny
Sheffield United - Good support and decent away day

Re: Who would you like to see promoted?
Leeds definitely with probably Sheff Utd but wouldnt mind WBA or Boro (just not Norwich) as top 2. Any of Derby, Villa or Bham in playoffs
Only teams in top half Id hate to see go up are Norwich, Bristol & B*stards

Re: Who would you like to see promoted?
Even though I'd never want Leeds up, they're as good as promoted, as teams around them can't string enough wins together. The 3-3 last night pretty much summed it up. So for me - Leeds are up, anyway. I've just accepted it.
So it's a question of which 2 teams would I like to see go up. Derby and Sheffield United as both reasonably local to me and think we can finish above both, should we stay up.

I know it's already been said but I don't think it's been emphasised enough. Anyone but Leeds.

I really don't think we should be encouraging any upward movement of Blackburn Rovers.
