Re: O/T I want to come home
Someone will be along in a minute to explain how she should be allowed to come home and be welcomed back into civilised society.
Surprised they aren’t here already tbh with the amount of snowflakery we get these days...

To be fair, she's just taken a slightly longer gap year than normal. Not everyone wants to build houses in Africa or snowboard in New Zealand you know!

I think she should be allowed home. The severed heads filling the bin were from enemies of Islam so that was quite normal to regard as perfectly ok.

"I don't regret coming here."
Fine. Sounds like she's doing OK , then.
So she can stay where she is.

She could do abit of scouting for us whilst she’s there

Knowing some people in this country her homecoming will be similar to the airport one in Love Actually

I don't think she should be allowed. However, she was still essentially a child when she made the decision to go to Syria. Should that be taken into account? Probably not but trying to see both sides of things.
Re: O/T I want to come home
Would she still want to come home if IS were still thriving in that region?
No.

Re: O/T I want to come home
Got the impression she wanted to come back here to have her baby. Probably with a mind to go back later to the buckets full of heads life with her offspring, where he/she would presumably become either a future fighter or a child bride for IS.
It's certainly a test for our democracy.

Re: O/T I want to come home
The only time she should be anywhere near this country is if she returns in a body bag. Bed has been made, I am afraid she has to lie in it. If she was old enough to make a conscious decision to catch a flight, cross a country border and join a terrorist organization who's aims she did and clearly still does support, she can live with the consequences. Or even better go the way of her friend and become acquainted with one of those US missiles.

She says this baby is imminent.
You cannot fly after 36 weeks of pregnancy.
Problem solved, thank you HM Government, my fee is in the post!
Child will be born abroad, and should never be given a British passport.
She can of course make her way overland, give her a donkey, it'll be born somewhere else.

Re: O/T I want to come home
Just for a bit of reality (yeah! I know! Sucks doesn't it?) the government minister has already said she can come home but she will have to contact consular support which means leaving the refugee camp and making it to Iraq, Jordan, Lebannon, Turkey or Israel. Then she will be interviewed by the police on arrival.

What, other than her age, has changed between her being a brainwashed, groomed 15 year old and a brainwashed, groomed 19 year old?

Bleeding hearts campaign to allow her back, and so she is allowed to come back to the UK....
15 years down the line she has brainwashed her **** offspring and taught "it" IS values.....
How do we know it is not an IS plot to flood the west with sleeper jihadi babies so in 15-20 years time they can start Terrorist cells.
LET HER AND HER CHILD live in the country she wanted to call home SYRIA.... Tough luck girl you chose the life... Live it.

The attractions of a NHS midwife suddenly seem very appealing it would seem, but as others have said, maybe somebody should have thought about that in the first place. Oh, and I think we all know the old story of the Trojan horse......Not sure what made me think of that tbh...?

Let her stay and rot there. She would be a drain on society likewise her baby, she would be held up as an icon and obviously the green light is then given to other would be jihadists.
Remember this lot want to slaughter all non sunni muslims who don't convert that is her belief keep her away from the UK.

Re: O/T I want to come home
Pregnant? Another child on benefits.
Only 15 when she went? I think I knew basic right from wrong at 15.
Genuinely sorry? Doesn't seem so.
Another potential trained terrorist in our midst? Quite possibly.
Contribute to British society by way of taxes and culture? Definite no.
Will the child be raised to love/preserve the freedoms we have? Unlikely.
Ergo: what the hell is the government doing even considering this request? She was free to go and serve an enemy quite willingly and turn her back on the country that (presumably) raised her. If any of this is to do with the childs rights then that is wrong because this child will be brought up with the same values that took it's mother off to 'fight for Allah'.
Talk about the enemy in the midst? I have no problem with muslims and I know loads who are brilliant but we have to accept that there are bad apples and this girl is very obviously one.
I'm guessing if she is allowed back it will be with extreme secrecy and anonimity, if only for her own safety. The only way she should be allowed back is to face trial for treason.

Bring her back to have the child, stick her in jail on terrorist offences, then take the baby into care.
We get justice for her crimes and the baby doesn't grow up to be an IS fighter. Win win.

Re: O/T I want to come home
This girl / woman has waived any rights to British Citizenship. Her unborn child is NOT a British Citizen. She has shown zero remorse. Why should our tax payers pick up the bill for slinging her in Prison, getting Social Services to find a fit and proper family to raise her offspring, educate her offspring and provide health care for her and her offspring. She's home now. She should stay right where she is. She is not welcome here. Two words National Security.

Re: O/T I want to come home
So she wants to come home to use the NHS?
She's admitted she wasn't strong enough to stay with the fighters and has shown zero remorse for what IS have done to prisoners etc.
Nah, I'm not having that, leave her over there and refuse her entry to the UK based on the fact she's the member of a terrorist organisation.
Once she's back here and her kid is born over here it's harder to throw her back out again.

Re: O/T I want to come home
Very hard to feel any sympathy for her. Just listened to the story on BBC America.
However, somebody in the school, the local council and the police , all of them with knowledge of the grooming taking place, 4 years ago, should be fired, without any doubt. They took the decision to not alert the parents of these 15 year old girls, to what was going on. Criminal.
Not saying she should be allowed back in to the UK, but it should never have gotten to this stage.

If we let the b@stard back in, you can see what's coming next. A request to let the bearded sperm donor in
as it's only right that a child should be brought up in a proper family environment.
Leave her where she chose to go - no good will come of letting her back in here.

One flaw with that otherwise decent idea. The child may grow up to be aggrieved at the treatment of its mother and be just as bad. The only way it would work is to make sure it never finds out who its mother was.Falcon wrote:Bring her back to have the child, stick her in jail on terrorist offences, then take the baby into care.
