Harry Kane

Now back in full training. Possible for Saturday. No worries a Ben Mee tackle will slow him down.

I expect him to start on the bench. We're good enough to get something against Spurs.

Since we brought in our better players, we're showing why we finished 7th last season. It was no fluke - we're a top 10 side.

Better players? Heaton? That’s about it.

1) You don't think McNeil has improved our side
2) You don't think Bardsley should be playing at right back
3) You don't think Barnes and Wood are our best strikeforce.

Thank the lord you aren't our manager!

Doubt the will start him, they will think they have enough without risking him, hopefully we will have got 4 before he comes on and bags 3

Tbh even if Kane was fit and playing, it would be Son that I’d be most worried about.

We’ll need somebody fit enough to stick with him and keep him quiet

They have some big games coming. They follow us with Chelsea in the PL and Dortmund the midweek after. I’d only expect him on the bench but I'm with Dusty there is a result waiting for us.

I'll take a point right now!
But a 94th minute goal to win it would be nice.

We are due one against these,we have only tubed them when it didn't matter will be hard but we are capable of it we have grown stronger since our meeting at Wembley and defended very well down their and deserved a draw
Is Dele Alli out still
If so Son and Eriksson are the ones to watch

We could easily have snatched a draw against Liverpool when we hit the crossbar late on.

I assume Kane will be on the bench. To be fair, we coped with Eriksen in particular well enough at Wembley before Christmas, albeit I doubt we'll be playing 5-4-1 again given how well 4-4-2 has worked recently.

I'm assuming we'll set Spurs exactly the same challenge we set Man United - we'll defend deep and narrow, look for Barnes and Wood to hit the channels early and hope that we can get McNeil and Hendrick (who I assume will be left and right) driving onto some second balls/lay-offs on the counter.

This means we'll probably invite crosses, and Spurs are as well equipped as any of the top sides to exploit this, particularly if Llorente plays up front and Trippier is at right back, but we've always got a chance - and I'm particularly looking forward to the potential battle down our left between McNeil and Tripper, Turf Moor protégés old and new.

As above Llorente is my concern. Stole a game from us at Swansea and setup this years late winner for them.

But the game ended 1-3 so hardly a result that was snatched away from us. Extremely tough game on Saturday insofar as their attacking threat is probably the most potent in the division after Man City.

It was 2-1 when we hit the crossbar, so yes, we could have got a draw had that gone in.

............... and they had not scored a third goal.
I see your point and definitely don't want to be argumentative but a draw required two things that did happen not to happen.

Depends whether the ref gives blatant pushes I suppose
