Three Identical Strangers
Just watching this on Ch. 4. An incredible, moving programme surrounding the nature v nurture argument. If this subject is of interest to you I recommend watching it.

Re: Three Identical Strangers
Just watched it myself
Unbelievable and as said very disturbing
An example of the arrogance of some of the elite intellectual heiarchy who think they can do anything in the name of “research”. As one of the brothers said they were treated like lab rats.
This should have led to criminal prosecution.

Watched it. Makes you wonder if missing your identical twin/triplet during your formative years, resulted in the mental health/psychological issues.
Very sad that one of the triplets took his own life, despite the pleasure of finding his brothers.

Re: Three Identical Strangers
Fascinating watch. Found the lead psychiatrist's assistant to be quite chilling with her lack of remorse.
Reminded me of an excellent documentary i saw about the children in 70s/80s Argentina who had been stolen from their left wing parents during the time of the military junta and were now been reunited with their biological families. It's on YouTube for anyone interested

Re: Three Identical Strangers
Truely awful what happened.
My dad (bigdave48) and his non identical twin brother we’re adopted together from a catholic Work house over Rossendale way in the late 40s.
Something like this could have happened to him. Maybe it did because my dad is short and fat and my uncle is tall and slim. Maybe there are two other Laurel and Hardy brothers knocking about
