Have faith, we will get the required points and we have to get the Turf rocking for our remaining home matches.

Cardiff and Southampton winning. Burnley sleep walk into a relegation situation.
Re: Today's football
We need to face reality that at this level we're a poor side. Apart from the 7 game unbeaten run we've looked miles away all season. Our failure to strengthen last summer has well and truly caught up with us.

What's terrible is that we might have to rely on other teams losing to stay up. Anyone who thinks our January window was acceptable is deluded.MRG wrote:What a terrible day

this, shambolic summer window but don't worry I'm sure we will spend loads in the summer to get us back up

Not really bothered about our January window, it was our summer window, after qualifying for Europe, which was totally unacceptable .

Spending is always the scapegoat. We can point to it and say it was the cause without ever knowing if it was.
What we do know is this same squad & manager got us to 7th last season but haven't been able to get us to a far less ambitious mid table safety this season.

The results today are the kick up the proverbial we need both the team and the fans, after the Spurs game people were saying job done and you could see it in the performances against Newcastle and Palace and the crowd was flat as well.
We really need to rock the place against Leicester

We really need to stand up and face the massive battle ahead and not knock the club and that goes for the players as well

Re: Today's football
I'm not sure why people are whinging about transfer windows. We're in this mess because of Dyche's awful team selections for the first half of the season, not because we didn't sign Jay Rodriguez or whoever.
We'll be fine by the way. With the exception of the Newcastle match we've been playing well.

Well I guess it's only 22 guys kicking a glorified pigs bladder around but having paid £30 to watch the Palace debacle where half of the home team failed to turn up I'm not laughing that much.ClaretShaun wrote:This thread is hilarious.

Re: Today's football
I can’t believe Cardiff Southampton won. I had them both down for losing today. Newcastle I thought they might win tbh, but at 0-2 thought it was game over.
We’re in trouble. Tomorrow was a freebie, but now it’s so important.

Would have settled for 17th at the start of the season. Would take it now.
Re: Today's football
We really need to get a few points from our games against
Leicester and Wolves at home and Bournemouth away afore we
face Cardiff. They've got Chelsea at home and Man City away
before they come to the Turf but will have played one game less.
It's getting squeeky bum time!
