I have renewed for the last 50 years, why the f!ck would I not renew?
These are BFC halacoyn days. Typical all the plastic tin pots showing how fical and plastic they are.

That’s fine and you’re entitled to think like that but there comes a time when people have to question whether they’re getting entertainment and value for money for their hard earned £500.Granny WeatherWax wrote:What’s that got to do with renewing? There’s a very strong argument to suggest that this season they’re getting neither.

Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
Unfortunately not renewing is the only chance people have to show that they aren't happy with things at the club. When you factor in the pathetic transfer windows last summer and January, our continuing disinterest in any of the cup competitions, the poor football on offer and Dyche's refusal to give the likes of Ben Gibson and Vydra a fair crack of the whip it's given me enough reasons to not renew. Especially when I know it won't be a problem getting a ticket for any home or away game.

Spot on! Nothing to do with what league we are in its about entertainment & our product is poor which no true football fan can deny.BurnleyFC wrote:That’s fine and you’re entitled to think like that but there comes a time when people have to question whether they’re getting entertainment and value for money for their hard earned £500.

Yeah I suppose they need all the season ticket money they can get so we can keep signing exciting, young players like Peter Crouch.Granny WeatherWax wrote:Cos not renewing will really help the club won’t it. Sigh.

To be fair to crouch he caused more danger in 20 mins than Barnes or Wood did all game.

Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
While I respect those who renew without even thinking, the service fans receive won’t improve unless fans stick together and demand changes. People should renew by all means, but should be constructively critical when warranted (e.g. renew along with a message asking for certain things to be improved).
The “happy clapper” approach (such as from those on this thread mocking others for not renewing) doesn’t help us at all. We get one life, let’s not spend it being happy with low standards.

You told them all those reasons why you weren't renewing! Why?thatdberight wrote:Twenty-one years a ST holder but not any more (I told the club earlier this week - not a reaction to today). Partially financial (can afford it but would prefer to spend it elsewhere), partially family (more time looking after people), partially "the football industry" but definitely in part this team, the current approach of our very successful manager and the complete lack of entertainment on offer.
Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
I gave up my season ticket when I started Uni 9 years ago. Lost the majority of my Clarets points and I am now trying to claw them back. Had a season ticket again for 4 seasons now.
I hope loads of people with loads of points give up their season tickets. Gives me more chance when we next get into Europe

Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
Well for what my two penneth is worth I will be renewing my ticket again next year for about what seems like the 100th year running.
Next weekend with no Burnley football I will be bored senseless as is the case with every international break or enforced missing of a game.
Why would I not renew whatever division we are in?
This season we played in Europe for the first time in 50 years and yet people are slating the team, the manager, the board and other fans.
I find some of the posts on this thread unbelievable.
Anyway still a member at Lancs Cricket Club who were relegated last season and they start again next month and you think our season ticket holders moan!

Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
This thread sums up just how fickle many of our fans are.
Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
Quick question for those not renewing but planning on still coming to the odd game - where will you sit? Cos all the non season ticket holder seats seem pretty dreadful options.
Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
We've been informed that there isn't just poor seats left, and even if so, that doesn't actually stop people attending...Foulthrow wrote:Quick question for those not renewing but planning on still coming to the odd game - where will you sit? Suppose we will see next season.
When will people realise that when people speak there's usually an issue, and failure to address that issue is usually costly.
Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
Plenty of seats free in the cricket field stand if you buy early enough. I think it may be surprising to some how many don't end up renewing.Foulthrow wrote:Quick question for those not renewing but planning on still coming to the odd game - where will you sit? Re: Anyone else thinking of NOT renewing next season?
I have renewed again and I live in Lincoln
Today I came via trains
Lincoln/Doncaster
Doncaster/Leeds
Leeds/ Todmorden
Todmorden/ Burnley
However the train from Leeds stopped at Hebden Bridge
due to weather conditions st Rochdale so I hopped off the train and caught a bus To Todmorden and then another bus to Burnley
Going back although some of my trains were cancelled I
Managed to get back home on 3 trains
We lost and I got blooming wet but will be coming to games again next season because I support Burnley as I have done for 60 years

I have renewed without a second thought. Anybody not renewing and has a better seat
than my current one I will thank you right now and transfer. Don't come running to me
or the club when you want it back.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
