Not an easy read, not an easy write but not over yet, thanks CT.

Summed it up. Not sure if we will recover from yesterday. The players cannot enjoy playing the same turgid football and it showed.

Strange thought. The same players recently picked up 18 points from in a run of 8 games. Incredible if they are not enjoying playing it.bfcjg wrote:Summed it up. Not sure if we will recover from yesterday. The players cannot enjoy playing the same turgid football and it showed.
Re: REPORT: Clarets outfoxed by Leicester
In those games we did try to play a bit though. As a footballer you just could not enjoy playing to yesterday's gameplan

Re: REPORT: Clarets outfoxed by Leicester
A fair summary CT. A lot of misdirected anger after yesterday’s performance, which I understand because when McGuire was sent off expectations rightly rose.
We didn’t do enough but Taylor was a pen all day and I was riled when I saw that back on motd. A raggy 2-1 was the least we should have had from the game. There’s no reason why we can’t find our form back but it needs to happen quickly, you’d still take our position over Cardiff’s.

Re: REPORT: Clarets outfoxed by Leicester
Shouldn’t the headline read “Dyche outfoxed by Leicester” ?
Why we never tried to up
The tempo and change things around a lot earlier says a lot about the so called tactician in charge.

I saw at the end the referee Mr Oliver was from Ashington, it used to say Newcastle in the media in years gone by, so never knew he was from there.
I've now put 2 and 2 together and worked out why AshingtonClaret66 is always so, so defensive over any criticism Mr Oliver comes in for.

And who the hell is AshingtonClaret66.If you mean AshingtonClaret46-to my knowledge he didn't sire anybody in 66
No different from his defence of most officials. He sometimes does a proverbial when he feels they have been inconsistent with their whistle but if he posts on this I am sure he will say that the officials have a very difficult job to do.It takes one to know one.
Anyway Ash is from Oswaldtwistle but he has problems spelling it.

3 penalties ?
That really is clutching at straws.

Not sure about the handballs but the Taylor foul was stonewall, in real time, slo-mo and certainly from the angle the ref saw it. He clearly felt he’d given us one big decision and wasn’t going to give us another one - we’re not City after all.Nonayforever wrote:3 penalties ?

Dyche still the man for me but he needs to find a plan B when Barnes/Wood isn’t working.
Re: REPORT: Clarets outfoxed by Leicester
Also missed out how many shots on target we had. That in itself told the story of the day and how abject and hapless we were.
