Hit by an injury at Burnley but a good, long career coming to an end for Matty Taylor

A fine career and an important contribution in his time with us, and a nice bloke with it.

Only spoke to him twice, really good bloke, always positive and always had a smile on his face. Despite his lack of game time in his last season he still had nothing but positive things to say about the club and the manager. He's had a terrific career with a lot of years in the Premier League. I suspect his friendship with Dyche might have played a part in Swindon getting Ali Koiki on loan.

Scored some vital goals for us and never gave less than 100%.
Happy and long retirement, Matty.

Good pro but still have flashbacks to that Leicester penalty miss and resulting goal now
