If we lose today. Time for a change.
Like after Everton when changes prompted our good form, things havr gone stale.
Perhaps a move from the predictable 442 might be whats needed. Clubs know exactly how we will start and how we will change and how we will finish.
Perhaps 451, pack the midfield but room for a bit more flare may work. That said not sure Barnes or Wood are a lone striker.
Other options would be 5,3,2 or 4,5,1 looking to protect the point and maybe try nick one. Extra big men at the back and try win the set pieces which have been an achilles heel.
Id personally look to get Vydra, McNeil and JBG all in the side at once. Perhaps even Brady but that seems unlikely.
My side (which I would actually look to use today) would be
Heaton
Bardsley Tarks Gibson Taylor
JBG Hendrick Westwood McNeil
Vydra
Barnes
Argument for Lowton who has a better delivery than Bardsley. But hes earnt the shirt.

Well that’s a positive start to the day.......
Another massive day at The Turf. I prefer to get behind the lads that are out out in the pitch.

There needs to be a change to the lineup for this game. Performances have gone stale. However I doubt Sean will make these necessary changes.

A change after today will be too little too late although if Bardsley gets booked he will miss our next two games I think. Isn't today the last game after which a 10th yellow doesn't count and you have to have 15 before any suspensions?

Re: If we lose today. Time for a change.
A few disagreed but the one change I would’ve made against Leicester, would’ve been to bring Lowton on after half an hour, following Bardo’s yellow card.
The one thing Lowton definitely does is make us more attacking, makes the pitch bigger (overlaps) and delivers far better deliveries into the box.
Seems daft changing a defender even Bardsley has played so well, but this is certainly something I’d consider.

Has Lowton provided any assists this season?

Lowton has been very poor when he has played. Dyche has very few options with the squad he has at his disposal. The midfield two of Cork and Westwood have lost their form and are not consistent enough at this level.Hipper wrote:Has Lowton provided any assists this season?
We could change our formation by dropping Wood, and going 4-5-1 by playing a mid 3 with Hendrick coming in

Re: If we lose today. Time for a change.
Agree with the OP but I wouldn't drop Mee, he's been fine. Tarky needs to sort himself and a spell on the nehc might help - so I'd be dropping him of the two.
Re: If we lose today. Time for a change.
We mustn't lose today so if there are to be any changes
then, for me it has to be today.
Can't decide what the changes might be and suspect Dyche by nature
will not make many, if any.
However, if the game isn't going our way then he may be forced
to make radical changes during the second half.
Unfortunately we haven't got too many on the bench to bring on to change a game.
Dyche will probably leave it until the Bournemouth game depending on how we
perform today.
Whatever the team he puts out today I think the critical factor
may well be the support from fans. If they get behind the team from the very beginning
then we might just pull off a decent result and send us into our remaining games
knowing one more win might be enough.
Obviously much also depends on how Cardiff do in their next two games
and hopefully they'll lose both.

Change? Pro active? Look to exploit the opposition's weaknesses?
Ha ha ha ha, you're joking right?
