No
Did they feel sorry for us being robbed recently at Mold Trafford?
That's just one of many we've had recently.
Usually against a ',Top Six' side.

Re: Feel sorry for Cardiff?
"Feel sorry for Cardiff?"
Absolutely. Shocking decisions may have cost them their place in the PL.
Then, I think:
1) It's Cardiff so feck 'em
2) It's Warnock so feck 'im
3) It's been a huge day for, hopefully, ensuring we can stop in the PL
So, my revised answer is: Absolutely not. They can go down at our expense all day long and I will be an extremely happy Claret.

My inclination towards wanting fair refereeing is overriden by my joy of seeing Warnock suffer. They were robbed but a raging Warnock is worth it.

I understand that Police were called to an address in the Cliviger area shortly after 4 O'Clock, after receiving reports of a retired gentleman being suspected of inhaling laughing gas. He was seen on his sofa apparently in uncontrollable fits of laughter, and has been named locally as 72 year old Francis Stanley Ternent .....

Re: Feel sorry for Cardiff?
It's difficult not to feel some sadness for Cardiff.
They didn't deserve that.
I know we've had our fair share of bad luck but we've also been
lucky in some games - the one down at Cardiff where we won 2-1 comes to mind.
Cardiff will probably have to beat us at the Turf to stand much chance
albeit they also have games away at Fulham and Brighton that if they win might just keep them up.
Personally I wouldn't mind it if Brighton go down.
They've got some tough games in April and if they lose at home to Bournemouth
then the home game against Cardiff will be tense.

Re: Feel sorry for Cardiff?
Um, no.
Wood's disallowed goal against Watford plus Taylor and Barnes had stonewall penalties denied both of which could have gained us more points if converted.
I also read on Twitter that Cardiff's winner against Brighton was offside earlier this season.

"It's difficult because I am really flat. I am so proud of my players. To get let down by the officials... roll on VAR.
"We worked three weeks for this but to get let down by decisions... no major decisions went for us.
"They don't realise what is at stake. If I was a Burnley or a Brighton fan, they will be absolutely loving it today.
"It's not our fault an official can't see that, it is the most obvious offside I have ever seen or the most certain penalty I have ever seen.
"What goes through my mind? Is it payback time for me over the years?
"It's the best league in the world but the worst officials. They don't understand what is at stake. They shouldn't make mistakes at this level.
"Why am I working at 70 years of age for things like that to happen? It's not very often I am lost for words.
"My players feel like they have been kicked in the teeth. We've been kicked so many times. I don't deserve officials like that today. There is no excuse for that, it's criminal.
"if my players feel like they look in the dressing room, that's the end of our season. But how many times have we bounced back this season?"

Re: Feel sorry for Cardiff?
I tell you what, that was pretty impressive from Warnock - I was hoping he was going to be far more explosive. He was spot on saying the smaller clubs will benefit from VAR too. It was also good how he questioned being a total bellend over his career might have come to bite him today. Yes Neil, you've been a total to55er over the years. Say "Hi" to karma.
Re: Feel sorry for Cardiff?
Cardiff bricked the Burnley terrace in our promotion season early nineties

Whilst I am pleased at the result and will lose no sleep, I am sorry for every team who are not either, the top 6 or the favoured 2nd tier.
All and any decision goes their way and some are even contrived, to achieve a required result.

Re: Feel sorry for Cardiff?
Yet another example of the institutionalised bias that is prevalent in this league. Don’t expect VAR to help the smaller clubs as it will be manned by the same people who can’t see past the top 6.

Nope. Never. Did the sheep sha**ers feel sorry for us when we didn't get a penalty at 1-1 v Leicester, for the foul on Charlie Taylor? Plus the Colin factor, nah, feck em. Welsh Kents. Colin, when interviewed, playing the victim AGAIN, with a smile on his face. Let's wipe the smile in 2 weeks time. COYC!!

True, it will be the same people, but they will be held to account because they can't hide from their decision making by saying they were unsighted or they made a mistake because it had to be made in a split second. There's no way that goal would have been given if VAR was in use.Stproc wrote:Don’t expect VAR to help the smaller clubs as it will be manned by the same people who can’t see past the top 6.

Absolutely not. No one ever ‘feels sorry’ when diabolical decisions go against us so I’m not going to shed a tear when they don’t go against other sides. I wish the small teams got the same rub of the green in general but if a bad decision helps us to stay in the PL then happy days.
