New Corner Stands
I think I’m right in saying the first of the new stands opens on Saturday.
Are there any plans to name either of the new stands?
Who would you name the stands after?
What about a permanent name for one and then the other gets renamed each year based on the player of the last season?
Barry Kilby stand?
Jimmy Holland Corner?

The Parkinson Suite for the one that opens on Saturday would be fitting.

I thought maybe we could go with an inspirational name. Something along the lines of "FFS just once beat the first man Brady when your taking a" Corner?

Re: New Corner Stands
Parkinson and McMinn would be more than apt. If of course they were happy with that.
Two of our most important players in modern history. Both of which played a huge part in the same game, the one which took us back into the top two leagues.

Re: New Corner Stands
The one next to the Longside should be the Shortside and the Bob Lord corner one should be named after the Danny Ings disability project if it's still going? One of the better things to help disabled people the club has links to. The exposure might help it grow.

'Charlie Adam Stand'.
His attempt for Stoke is the funniest thing in living memory

Steve, I'm (almost) 61 and I remember it well. You were probably too busy watching ITV which my dad wouldn't allow in our house! He used to make us watch BBC2 also, even though I don't think he really understood it!Steve1956 wrote:63 and I havnt got a clue
