It's not right to wish an opposing player to be out for the season.Stayingup wrote:Could have given him a Bacup kiss.

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
The angle and position of Arter make it look like he has a lovely bob.

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
Bennett walked all over him after that foul , knew exactly what he was doing.
That picture looks very touching.

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
To get a 2 game ban you need to have reached 10 yellow cards in the first 32 games - Barnes has received 7 yellow cards and we are two games past.Cirrus_Minor wrote:Does that yellow card now see him banned for the next. 2 games?

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
By Bennett refusing, does this mean he is homophobic and now deserves a ban?
Just asking as I’m out of date on the latest PC rulings.

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
After Tom Heaton, Ashley Barnes would be the first name on my team sheet every week.
I would hate to play against him.

'Ello 'ello 'ello, PC Policeman here to help you, mi' lad. I regret to inform that you appear to have picked a fight, a scrap, a battle for this most sensitive age, with an illusory phantom enemy, you see. An unfortunate predicament, to be sure, but son, your insecurities shan't be getting the better of you this day, you see, for your forgivable error is a forgivable one, and one for which you shall be most sincerely forgiven, you see, for I, PC Policeman, take you not for an idiot, a homophobe, or a xylophobe, or even a saxophobe; merely, a moron, and I stand here today, this day, to correct the error of your ways; for you see, your joke, your endeavour towards comedic validation, your stake to humorousness, hilarity, misguided and misjudged as it were, should rightfully have predicated on the abstract and ever and in fact not abstract and never-changing demarcation line between consent and rape, but alas, your joke, a ruined joke, but a joke no less, ruined by a fundamental misunderstanding of the concept of consent, and homosexuality, and political correctness, and common human decency, was made, I'm sure, in good faith, and for that, your are forgiven.Burnleyareback2 wrote:By Bennet refusing, does this mean he is homophobic and now deserves a ban?

I thought it was brilliant and it's a shame Mike Dean had a sense of humour bypass. Gotta love Bashley

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
My wife says she wouldn't mind giving Ashley a kiss, provided she could wear one of her retro Burnley strips (which I think means that any shirt would be quite tight nowadays and of course the shorts would be short!!).

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
I lived in Bristol for a couple of years which is not that far from Bath where Ash comes from and he is typical of the lads I met whilst playing for Avonmouth fc tough as old boots and loves a scrap ..didn't see much kissing though one game the ref got punched ..

Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
It was probably the typical bashley ‘in your face’ action just prior to him puckering up.Vegas Claret wrote:I thought it was brilliant and it's a shame Mike Dean had a sense of humour bypass. Gotta love Bashley
Re: Ashley Barnes kiss
The yellow card for that kiss is clearly a homophobic reaction from Dean.
It is absolutely shameful and should be overturned - Dean needs to go on an Inclusiveness and Diversity course.
