Yup. I worked in a factory when I was 19 during the college years and promised myself I'd never do it again. That was enough to scare the Bejesus out of doing something like that for a living.DustyBawls wrote:2 million!?

If I'm being too nosy, just ignore this comment. Have they told you how long you have left and have you put your name down for any trials going? People have been told they have months and lasted years, so don't take what they say as gospel.Longside4evr wrote:Was a Carpenter had my own business and employed now I am struck down with terminal cancer and would do anything to work again.

I retired at 50 because neither of my grandfathers or my dad got past 70. I decided I didn’t want to work until 65 and then maybe get 5 years. Best decision I ever made. Wake up every morning a free man and I’m never bored.

Worked as an accountant for 28 years and 12 years ago gave it up to became a self employed foreign student organiser. Best move I ever made as we work 24/7 for 9 months of the year then have 3 months off !! Also do bookkeeping for a student hotel in Hastings and do tours of Whitstable for those groups that want to book me.
