Last Four Games Predictions?
I thought just for a laugh (nothing heavy and no arguing amongst ourselves guys) I'd like to see what people really genuinely think we will get off our last 4 games. Given that 3 of them (City/Everton/Chelsea) have collectively scored 14 against us so far this season and the other (Arsenal) we have (due to bad luck and attrocious refereeing) never beaten in the PL era. This looks the worst possible end to a season. However, putting my optimistic hat on I think (hope?) that there is some possibility and surprisingly I think the best chance will be Arsenal because we are at home and we are long overdue a win against the cheating gooners. A lot will depend on the ref on the day I suppose because they are probably the best bunch of cheats in the PL. Also I think that Everton away (despite Boxing Day) holds some hope because they are not THAT good. I think that against Chelsea and City especially it will be a case of keeping the score down.
There you go - it's a tall order but let's see what others think (being realistic). I still think there is a strong possibility of no points at all but let's get positive for the last 4.
Prediction: 4 points.

Re: Last Four Games Predictions?
Chelsea- unpredictabile. We could smash them 2-1
City- majorly ****** after last night. They will win 4-2
Everton- unpredictable. We could smash them 3-0
Arsenal- already on the beach. A very easy 5-0 victory for the mighty Clarets.
Anyway sorry I can’t be more positive but you did say be realistic.

Re: Last Four Games Predictions?
10 points - starting with 3 on Monday against Chelsea; draw against City meaning we hand the title to Liverpool; then we'll finally beat Arsenal on the last day.
EDIT - we owe Everton for making us better this season - at their cost...

Re: Last Four Games Predictions?
Being realistic i can see a point at Goodison,a slim defeat at Chelsea,City will be desperate to win the PL now so can't see much against them,Arsenal aren't great on the road and might have EL games to prepare for i can see a battling draw against the cheatin Gooners.
Fortunately we shouldn't need many or any points to secure another season of PL status.
The encouraging aspect of our recent form and results is we're defending much more like ourselves, and we're capable of scoring.

Best thing for us is Arsenal get to the final of Europa league and by then can't make top 4 and he decides to stick a wenger style carling cup tie side out

Re: Last Four Games Predictions?
Lose at Chelsea, win at Everton, draw at home to City and Arsenal is entirely dependent on what they need to do, what kind of weather it is, if we or they can be arsed etc.

Couple of draws at best
If city need to win, then that will not be one of them.

The only top 6 club we have never beaten in the PL era. Has to end soon. Depends how much they pay the ref I suppose.Steve1956 wrote:Three points off Arsenal, and another point coming off one of the other three, would be over the moon if we can finally put the never beating Arsenal in the Premier league to bed

Re: Last Four Games Predictions?
I'd be happy with one point from the last 4 games.
And to come through those games giving Chelsea, City and Arsenal
plenty to think about and performing well.
Possibly scoring one or two decent goals too.
Other than that to get through those games injury free.
Would love to beat Arsenal on the last day and make it four points
and there is a chance especially if they get though to the Europa League.

Re: Last Four Games Predictions?
1 point. After which the other sides will all need it more than us.
Re: Last Four Games Predictions?
Last season I said we'd win six on the trot after that barren spell after Christmas, we ended up winning 5 on the trot.
A few weeks back I wrote before the wolves game
"I want a win on Saturday, a win at Bournemouth and a win against Cardiff. A rejuvenated Burnley after the international break, the good times returning once again. I want the anxiety to be over with as soon as possible and then we go on to finish the season with a point at Chelsea, throw a real spanner in the works against City, a class win at Everton and a last minute winner against Arsenal which buggers up their 4th spot aspirations. A great end to the season to be looked back upon fondly.
I'll go 8 points.
