Not quite a worldy, Bosscat. Beast like goalkeeping from De Gea. Took an eternity to dive for that.

Hopefully Everton don't play like this against us, although Man U are making them look very good.

. wouldn’t describe it as a ‘Worldy’ - good hit but he feels the goalkeeper should be stopping it from that distance when he had sight of it all the way.

If Man U lose today, that'll be 6 defeats in their last 8 games in all competitions.

Something tells me the honeymoon period is over and we're in the headache phase.

Which is a couple of hundred million less than the glazers have taken out to reduce the debt they have imposed on the club by £50m

In fairness, with half a billion per year revenue, serviceable debt probably is the least of their concerns.

I wonder if he is still on his loan contract and the new one doesn't go live until next season?

If so, surely re-negging (or whatever) on it would be cheaper? :P

One things for sure, he'll be sacked before he technically starts...

The players were playing with relief when Jose went. The real test is when things aren’t going for them. Can he lift them ?. I wasn’t convinced at Cardiff. I think they have good players but also some big egos.

Glazers the main issue, but José was the only one to challenge them. 2 trophies and a second place finish in this era under their current regime...hindsight is always 20/20

Gary Neville, post match, giving Manure some awful stick, calling the players lazy, giving a rancid performance, saying certain players need rooting out and getting rid of. Great to watch, love it

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, 28, is said to be growing increasingly frustrated with the club's refusal to meet his long-standing request for a pay rise. (Times)

Earning his cut!

Now, on to the Cardiff/Liverpool game. This game concerns me, it's more or less a 'must win' for both.

Come on 'Pool, fill the net.

I posted this on a thread a couple of weeks ago. Exactly the sort of game that Liverpool might bottle, and if they do then we dont look so safe.

Give me strength. You sometimes get one team who manages to get out of danger at the expense of one team who looks safe, but as far as I'm aware two teams have never ever done that. I suspect there is more chance of us winning the PL this season than finding evidence of two teams have made a great escape in one season.

Even if Cardff do win they have to keep winning, as do Brighton.

We are 250/1 to go down for a reason.

Alexander-Arnold has been rubbish again today. Saw him against us and now against Cardiff. Both McNeil and Mendez-Laing have had a lot of joy against him.
