Chelsea assistant boss Gianfranco Zola has done the post-match interviews, because he says manager Maurizio Sarri has "a lot of emotion".

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is asked on Sky Sports about the scuffle at the final whistle:
"I don't know what you can call it now. Handbags? Manbags? Bumbags?"

Sarri is just the latest classless money grabbing mercenary to fill the Chelsea hot seat.

Re: Sarri seems to be the hardest word.
Spent most of the game yards outside his Technical Area , at one point waving his arms around in Woan’s face. Sean just ignored him throughout and whilst this was the right thing to do a fair chunk of me wanted him to chin him tbh. Odd as when he first arrived he seemed to be a level-headed, rational bloke but he has turned into a flailing, petulant buffoon.

In other words, a typical Chelsea manager. Aren't we all happy that through thick and thin, we'll stick with Sean?Stalbansclaret wrote:Spent most of the game yards outside his Technical Area , at one point waving his arms around in Woan’s face. Kevin was the Chelsea appointed referee, whose task was to ensure 3 points for them.Down_Rover wrote:Who is Kevin?

Re: Sarri seems to be the hardest word.
Comments attributed to Zola on BBC website made me giggle :
"They were playing 11 inside the box. It's difficult to score against a team like that........It's difficult when you play against a team who have two chances and score two goals and didn't want to play the game."
So the mega bucks he gets paid to coach the players on how to deal with such things looks like money well spent!!!! Presumably didn't take much time out to look at the previous 34 games we've played this season to come up with a game plan. Great player, but as best I can recall, has failed in every coaching/management job he's taken on. Something in that methinks.

Changed a bit since Jimmy Adamson made the players address the referee as “Sir”.... but that is just disrespectful.Down_Rover wrote:Oh, you mean Mr Friend

My son noticed this but was he smoking during the game? Surely this isn’t allowed?
