Strange bench today: Gibson, Ward and Glennon all left-sided defenders. Were we down to the bare bones, or is this how SD gives a young lad a taste of pro football?

Which, knowing Dyche, means she’s not even pregnant yet.

Looking at the number of players unavailable, we may well have been down to the minimum. Great for the lad to get a taste of what it's about.

No idea where the Driscoll has come from but it's U23 captain Anthony Glennon who was with the first team squad at Chelsea.

So is he in front or behind of Ali Koiki (when he returns) and why did we have two left backs on the Bench? Are our youngsters still miles off or did Sean think we needed to load the bench with defenders on the off chance they got injured?

There was a young lad warming up at half time who was about 5ft5.

Can’t imagine he’s a centre back

Saw him warming up during the shooting drill and he absolutely leathered two piledrivers past Pope. So if anything he’s got a good shot on him

He's played in the centre for the under-23s when we had a number of injury problems, but he's a left back

but he's named as Anthony Glennon (without the Driscoll) by Burnley and by himself on his social media accounts.

Dropped the double-barrell for family reasons maybe. Perhaps there's a dodgy Scouse Driscoll in his family he doesn't want people to find out about :D

Dont think hes a product of a broken home like the rest of the double barrels creeping into the English game,I could be wrong and they all might be Toffs.

I think it's becoming a bit of a pattern at the end of the season to include a youngster on the bench. Reward maybe? Experience maybe? but fantastic that we have these youngsters finally coming through. Hope he has a long career with us.

We've run out of senior players. Glennon was 19th man at Chelsea but stepped up to the bench when Brady was unavailable.
