Its Burnley not Barca

Post by Woodleyclaret » Thu May 02, 2019 7:38 am

Much has been written about possession football and whether it wins games.
Clearly as Barcelona showed its goals that count
Sean plays Burnley games in a similar way.Let the opposition have the ball and then hit them hard on the counter
Not gung ho but it works as was shown last night

Like Sean Dyche says, mixed football..... if you play one way its one-dimensional & easier to counter-plan, even for the attacking juggernauts that are Liverpool & Man C. The key to mixed football though is to get the balance right, something which has improved in the 2nd half of the season, not only on the 1st half of this season but also improved on last season too, in my view.
