Whats Your Last Friday Night Away Game
Just trying to think of the last away game that comes to mind on a Friday Evening
Southend 82 was a good one and last away game of that season with a resounding 1-4 victory
Probably did Tranmere i think we used to play them on Friday evenings back in the day
Can anyone think of anymore
UTC

Wasn't Preston a Friday night when Joey Barton scored in 2016?

Checked it and it was Friday night on Sky - there were three that season, the other two at Rotherham and Brentford.Longside4evr wrote:It could have been but never went with living in Spain

Wasn't Stockport away a regular Friday night fixture in the Eighties/Nineties?
Or I might be getting that mixed up with the Autoglass malarkey.
Think they played Friday home games to avoid clashing with the two Manchester big boys.

Yep, that was a great night. 2-0 up with two Davis goals, they got it back to 2-2 with a screamer from Koumas and then we nicked it in the last minute through Payts!duncandisorderly wrote:We won away at Tranmere on a friday night I think? 2001ish?
Re: Whats Your Last Friday Night Away Game
Yeah I missed Preston away so it would have been Tranmere when Payton scored the last minute winner.

Colchester away was a good one, Wrighty's season, won 1-0 I think with Rune somebody scoring. I remember being there in that old shed with a few hundred others after a hell of a journey down.
