Clubs have reacted to penalties resulting from rules of financial fair play in various ways since it's introduction.
QPR, Leicester and Bournemouth bet the ranch on promotion - Bournemouth alone have settled the subsequent penalty (suspicions are that it was at a lower level than originally anticipated, QPR still have to settle amid an ongoing legal battle and today's results have confirmed that Leicester still have not settled and have no intention of doing so, believing FFP to be illegal (probably a similar approach to QPR's)

Other club's have suffered transfer embargoes and others have struggled as they have operated within the rules.
Given the ongoing legal battles and the incredible level of spending that is still going on in the championship especially - is it all but dead in name?
Will FFP in the Football League end?

Re: Will FFP in the Football League end?
There was always going to be several fights during the settling in period as some clubs thought they could/would get away with it. I suspect that Bournemouth's decision to pay up has rather taken some of the wind from the LCFC and QPR legal positions. I believe they will end up losing their cases and end up having to pay the penalty as well as huge legal costs.
Give it a few more years and nobody will think twice about complying or facing the penalty - there will always be clubs who consider the potential reward outweighs the potential penalty.

I certainly hope not. We played by the rules and somehow managed to get into the PL. QPR flouted the rules and even though they still haven't paid for their past midemeanours the club is now run in a completely different way. Result? It may be quite a while before they grace the PL with their presence. The embargoes ARE working. Rovers are struggling to stay in the Championship and Forest are miles away from the PL.

The FL need to stop dicking about and start cracking down, but the FA also need to get fully behind it.
QPR - Did they agree to it originally?
If they did they can't complain.
If they've signed up and agreed to follow the rules then I can't see their legal challenge getting far.
If they ultimately fail then the league should hand them a decent sized transfer embargo or severe restrictions, wage caps etc.
Leicester are getting away with it whilst in the PL and the FA should step in and enforce it.
They also need to do something about clubs who're lumbered with massive debts that are clearly never going to get repaid.
Never mind current operating losses, no club in the championship should have debts like Rovers, Forest, QPR, Bolton,Cardiff etc.
It all needs sorting.

The football league need to issue a statement while Leicester still have a chance of being relegated stating they will not be allowed back in the football league should they be relegated.
It might just spring a few clubs into action.
