I’m just glad he hasn’t tried it with any other countries apart from Australia and Ukraine.
Or threatening to lock up political opponents for treason because they're investigating him. Or suggesting that people who blew the whistle on him should be executed. Or fantasising out loud about a civil war if he's impeached. But that's what he's doing.

Sadly yes
Exactly the same people think Johnson isn't a liar, that "lets go WTO" is a valid trade strategy for the sixth largest economy in the world and that everything will be sorted if we leave without a deal on Oct 31st.

I can't decide whether most of them really do think those things or whether in their heart of hearts they actually realise they it's all rubbish but they can't bear to admit that they are wrong or whether they just don't care enough to find out.
These are very sad days.

It’s harder to convince a person that they’ve been had than it is to hoodwink them in the first place.

That statement sums up the life and business dealings of Donald Trump.
He has exploited this in people over and over again.

This is interesting. The State Department's Inspector General has sought an urgent and immediate briefing with 8 congressional committees regarding documents that they need to see. He's a man named Steve Linick and has been in that job since before the Trump administration.
It's also interesting because congress is in recess.
Who wants to bet that Steve Linock won't be in that job for much longer?

Asset. Russian asset. And i have no reason to apologise for something i'm right about. Why else would he be going to such lengths as he has gone (and still is going) to relieve Russian sanctions. The Trump admin has been like a parkinson's sufferer with a shotgun when it comes to how focused they are on policy targets in every issue except for one policy - Russian sanction relief. Weakening and eliminating Russia sanctions is the one thing they've been consistently working towards. Why? Because Putin owns Trump.

Top press conference yesterday from President who is clearly off his f**king rocker
The President of Finlands facial expressions and actions were the diplomatic equivalent of "If you do that again Trump, I'm going to smash your teeth in"
But we always remember Hilary's e-mails........

I love how Trump is guilty, he's admitted he's guilty, he's claimed others in his admin are also guilty, but they seem to think, and his dumb supporters no doubt agree, that because Adam Schiff knew there was going to be a whistleblower complaint before the complaint was filed that it means that Trump and all his criminal cronies should be allowed to get away with their crimes.

Orange Donnie has lost the plot a few times previously but he’s reached new levels in the last week or so.

I’m half expecting one of his rants to feature a sentence akin to, “What’s the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal.”

He's still adding to the articles of impeachment. China now.
You'd think that if his supporters were smart (
) or weren't blindly loyal that they'd think "why isn't mein Fuhrer asking the FBI to investigate this corruption by Biden?"
I think he's going for the "it can't be illegal if i do it in front of everyone" approach. You know, because everyone knows that as long as you don't try to hide your crimes then they're not crimes.

Trump on his former allies who helped to defeat ISIS.
Trump on the Kurds: They didn't help us in the Second World War, they didn't help us with Normandy.
Now where do you start with that one?

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I'm now beginning to wonder in whose interests is Trump acting in? Certainly not in the US interests. No other country will ever trust him again.
I fear we are going to live through some grim times and this is only the start.

People will still defend him on here, and millions will still vote for him, whatever he does or whatever he says.
I don't know how you get any messages through to people to make them stop thinking like that to be perfectly honest.

When he’s not rolling over and having his tummy tickled by North Korea he seems to make a lot of decisions that would be seen to benefit Russia primarily.
I’m not convinced if Russia has something on him or if he’s just that easy to manipulate. He’s certainly stupid enough.

Should we crash out of the EU with No Deal I am very glad we are not relying on Trump and the US to bail us out with massive Trade Deals.
Trump justifying abandoning the Kurds because they weren't shoulder to shoulder with the US at Normandy.

There are plenty of tales that the reason he doesn't want to release his tax returns is that it will show much in hock he is to a couple of Russian banks.
Who knows how true they are though. I could easily see it being the case or it could also be the case that this rumour has come about because he doesn't want to release them.

Remember when a couple of years ago there was news of a Trump Tower meeting between Trump Jr, Paul Manafort (Trump's campaign manager) and Russians offering information on Hillary Clinton to help Trump? And do you remember that for a short time there was speculation that it didn't happen along with denials and claims that it was all about child adoptions and not about collusion with Russia? Do you remember how that speculation ended? It ended by Trump Jr just tweeting it all out, along with copies of texts confirming everything he was being accused of was true.
Well, it's happened again.
Trump's chief-of-staff has admitted everything that Trump is being accused of. The entire basis of the impeachment inquiry has been confirmed by Trump's white house. It was a quid pro quo.
https://theweek.com/speedreads/872642/t ... id-pro-quo" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
They must be really ******* desperate to end the investigation. I wonder what else there is to find.

Anyway, Trump's managed to award the contract for next years G7 summit in America to [*checks notes*] himself. Because he's corrupt.
