1516 burnley khius metz 00 630x420On 8th August, young striker Khius Metz joined Altrincham on loan. When the loan was first revealed, there was no duration specified although Burnley Football Club later reported it as a half season youth loan until January.

In fact, the loan was for one month, allowable in non-league football. Khius made his Altrincham debut on the following day against Halifax and did well until being forced off during the second half with an injury; he hasn’t made another appearance for them.

Things have changed at Moss Lane since. Manager Neil Young resigned recently and on Monday this week they appointed Jim Harvey as his successor.

Harvey, who has managed a number of clubs in non-league including Morecambe, Chester and Forest Green, has made the decision to allow Metz and Nyal Bell, who was on loan from Gateshead, to return to their parent clubs.

Altrincham thanked both players and their respective clubs for their services.
