1516 burnley scott arfield 00 630x420Sean Dyche has today confirmed that Burnley have offered Scott Arfield, who is out of contract at the end of the season, a new deal.

There has been a lot of talk this week of other clubs having an interest in Arfield. West Ham were reported to have made a £2 million offer for the Canadian international with such as Crystal Palace and Newcastle believed to be monitoring the situation.

Arfield has been with the Clarets since the summer of 2013 when he joined on a free transfer from Huddersfield. Having made his debut against Bolton on the opening day of the 2013/14 season, he’s gone on to make 190 league and cup appearances for the Clarets, scoring 22 goals.

Dyche also reported that he’s not aware of any interest from other clubs.
