Northern Ireland call for BPF
Bailey Peacock-Farrell has become the second Burnley player today to receive an international call. He’s been called up for Northern Ireland who face to away games, against the Netherlands in a Euro 2020 qualifier followed by a friendly in the Czech Republic.
Peacock-Farrell was in outstanding form in their last game which ended in a 2-0 defeat against Germany, their first defeat in the qualifying tournament. They are second, behind the Germans and now have a tough trip to Rotterdam to face the Dutch who are currently third, three points behind but with a game in hand. That game is next Thursday, 10th October after which they will travel to Prague for the friendly against the Czechs on the following Monday.
