Northern Ireland calls for Burnley duo
Goalkeeper Conor Mitchell, who is on loan at Chester, and young forward Harry Limb have both received call ups for forthcoming Northern Ireland internationals.
Mitchell (left) will be hoping to win another cap having received another call up for the under-21s for whom he had an outstanding game last time out against Slovakia. They will play Estonia on Tuesday 10th October at Mourneview Park, Lurgan, the regular venue for the team for home games.
Striker Limb was called up for an under-19 training camp recently but has now been selected for their group games in the Euro Under-19 Championships.
Northern Ireland have been drawn in a group with Belarus, Germany and Poland with all the games being played in Poland during the next international break. They start with a game against the hosts next Wednesday 4th October, then play Germany on Saturday 7th before completing their fixtures against Belarus on Tuesday 10th October.
The first two games will be played at Stadion Piast in Gliwice with the Belarus game to be played at Stadion Slaski in Chorzow.Share this page :
