Perkins joins Ramsbottom on loan
Earlier today we reported the news that five young Burnley players had gone out on loan to local non-league clubs and this afternoon Teddy Perkins has become the fifth.
The central defender has joined the Northern Premier League Division One North club until January but hasn’t signed in time to play in their FA Cup tie tomorrow against Winsford United although he’ll be available for their league game at home against Trafford on Monday next week.
Perkins signed for the Clarets in the summer of 2018 from Leyton Orient but his first season was an injury hit one and with Bobby Thomas, Oliver Younger and Jimmy Dunne currently available to Steve Stone with the under-23 squad, he has the chance of playing some regular football and some first team football in the next few months.
