Pre-season ends for youths at Padiham
Burnley’s youth team will make the short journey to the Arbories tonight to complete their pre-season ahead of a second season in the U18 Professional Development League which starts with a home game against Charlton Athletic.
Danny Cadamarteri’s new look squad have already drawn one, against Fleetwood at Gawthorpe, and won three of their games. The wins were by 2-1 at Harrogate, 4-3 at home to Stoke and the most recent was the 2-0 win at Armthorpe Welfare last Saturday.
Both goals came in the second half, the first from a trialist and the second from Michael Fowler who, with any luck, would have bagged himself a hat trick.
Last Saturday’s team was: Harry Allen, Kane Patterson (Dan Moss 74), Udoka Chimna, Richard Taylor, Matty Rain, Rhys Fenlon (Trialist ht), Ethan Kershaw (Kian Yari ht), Dan Moss (Terry Mupariwa ht), Chris Conn-Clarke (Matthew O’Neill 82), Mitchell George (Will Harris ht), Michael Fowler (Dylon Meredith 72).
Padiham Football Club have confirmed that kick off time is 7:45 p.m. at the Arbories.
