Despite the acquisition of Inter Milan’s Andrea Ranocchia on loan, the only Premier League signing today so far, Hull are not prepared to allow their left-back Andrew Robertson to join Burnley.

At his pre-match press conference today, Hull boss Marco Silva said: “Robertson is not leaving, he is our player, he is important for us and he is preparing to play tomorrow night. I spoke with the player yesterday and I am clear with him that I want you at the club and he is kept in the squad. He was happy about that.”

Speculation this morning suggested that Robertson was anything but happy while his club desperately look to bring in new players ahead of tonight’s deadline.

Meanwhile, there is more positive news regarding Robbie Brady with reports from Norfolk that he is on his way to Burnley for a medical.
