With the date and kick off time now confirmed for our final away game at Arsenal, Burnley Football Supporters’ Club have decided on an two day trip with an overnight stay in London on the Saturday night prior to the game.
The coach will depart from Lane Ends, Lowerhouse, at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday 5th May with a second pick up at Turf Moor at 8 a.m. They will travel to London with a short refreshment stop on the way with the aim of reaching the hotel by mid-afternoon.
That hotel is the IBIS London Excel which is located on Western Gateway in the Docklands and is the hotel the supporters’ club used for their recent weekend away for the West Ham game. The Docklands Light Railway serves the immediate area with connections to Tower Gateway and direct underground services into London. There are also a host of pubs and restaurants in the immediate are or the wider Docklands Basin.
After breakfast on the Sunday there will be free time ahead of the coach departing for the Emirates with coaches having to be parked up at the stadium by 2:30 p.m.
The coach will return to Burnley immediately after the game with a refreshment break on the return journey.
The cost, including all coach travel plus bed and breakfast at the hotel is £120 per person based on sharing a twin or double room. There is a single room supplement of £20 per person.
