crowne plazaBurnley Football Supporters’ Club have decided that their first weekend away this season will be in early December when the Clarets are set to play their first ever game at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The game is currently scheduled to be played on Saturday 7th December and the Supporters’ Club coach will depart Turf Moor at 10 a.m. on Friday 6th. They will travel to London, with a lunch stop in Banbury on the way, for a two night stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Heathrow. Other locations were considered including central London along with Docklands and Greenwich but this offered much better value.

A three course buffet menu on the Friday evening awaits the travellers and this is included in the package.

After breakfast, there will be time to spend in and around the hotel before the coach departs for Spurs at lunchtime on the Saturday for the game, returning immediately after the game to the hotel where again there will be an evening meal.

Sunday will see the coach depart after breakfast with a visit to nearby Windsor before making its way back to Burnley, with a suitable refreshment stop on the way. It is expected to return to Turf Moor by around 9:30 p.m.

The cost of the weekend is £195 per person based on sharing a twin or double room. There is a £40 single room supplement. This includes all coach travel and two nights in the Crowne Plaza for bed, breakfast and evening meal.
