Taylor is fourth scholar out on loan
This week, all of Michael Fowler, Will Harris and Ethan Kershaw have extended their work experience loans and now a fourth member of the youth squad, Richard Taylor, has followed with a similar move to Colne.
It’s been an eventful start to the new season for him. He didn’t feature too much last season at youth team level but has been a regular this season in what has been a good start in the U18 Professional Development League.
When Fowler made the move to Padiham, it was Taylor who then took over as captain but his season was interrupted when he received a red card in the recent win against Ipswich having given away a penalty.
He celebrated his 18th birthday this week and will now look to progress in the next month just as his three team mates have done.
